Great tour & value! - Excellent tour - great value! Barbara was very informative & entertaining! Antonio was a pro coach driver, navigating a 40' bus like it was a Vespa! Pompeii was amazing with so much more to see another time. Sorrento was gorgeous, but a little chilly (late November). The whole tour was totally worth the time & money - I highly recommend!!

Great value for money - Our guide, Barbara ( could have spelt her name wrongly) is the best tour guide I ever have met in my many years of travelling. With her added sense of humour, that made the trip more enjoyable

Great experience - Erica was a fantastic tour guide! She was funny and entertaining while providing excellent historical information as well as advice on how to make our trip to Italy even better. Luca was an excellent and safe driver. Pompeii was fascinating and so exciting for me to see after reading about it for a long time. Our guide there was Bernadette, and she was fabulous. I felt like we really got to see a good overview of the area. Our tour of Pompeii ended in the forum with an amazing view of Mount Vesuvius in the background which I thought was perfect. Sorrento was a beautiful, charming costal town, & our free time just exploring the streets there was very enjoyable.

Bucket List Adventures - All of them! Pompeii is amazing to see, Amalfi coast was georgous and Sorrento was picturesque like a postcard! Alessandro was a great tour guide with a great knowledge of the history and even had a great sense of humour. Giovanni made sure we got to and from all places safely and always smiling! Rosanna was our tour guide in Pompeii and she explained everything so well you could picture what it looked like! If you’re thinking about this tour think no more and book it!!!

Will do this again! - Such a wonderful experience this tour of the ancient ruins of Pompei. Giancarla, the local tour guide at the site was so knowledgeable & you can really see her passion in explaining the story behind important archaeological finds on the site. Our tour guide, John, was sharing his knowledge about the Roman tour sites & food sites with passion, zest & humor. He’s shared a lot of good tips, practical info on how to make the most of our visit. Overall, a great experience for someone visiting Rome for the first time.

Well worth the travel time - Albeit a long day this trip was wonderful. Rob our tour guide was AMAZING. Funny, knowledgeable and very organised. Although the weather wasn’t the best it didn’t distract from this amazing place. The trip to the Lemoncello distillery was brief for interesting and the views down to Sorrento were beautiful. Wondered around Sorrento for an hour and a half which was pretty and the views across to Vesuvius were stunning.

Long day made even longer - Daniel was our driver and I forget our tour guides names, maybe Marta. We went on 11/3. We did not see the Amalfi Coast as stated in our booking, we were not provided with an explanation as to why. The Pompeii tour was short and did not show more than 1 body which was the main draw to the site and the reason we booked the very long day trip. The guide talks during the whole bus ride which I didn’t realize would happen, I thought we could sleep on the way to Pompeii but that was out of the question. But the worst part was that our 3 hour ride home turned into a 6 hour ride home due to traffic going into Rome. Normally I’d say you can’t control the traffic, but the guide expressed concern about it all day. I guess it was a holiday weekend and they knew that traffic would be crazy but scheduled the tours anyway. We had plans that evening that we had to cancel because we didn’t get back until midnight. They also made us stop for 45 minutes on the way home despite already running so late.

Seems we missed the most compelling part - My cousin visited Pompei in a December and showed pics of lots of covered victims.. it was very dramatic and really helped demonstrate hope unprepared they were.. the tour we were on showed 1 encased body…. That’s it. I was very disappointed.. the ruins were interesting but the victims help provide a human story.
