Fun for the Family! - We had a great time in August with Maria Claudia. We booked 2 tours with her for us parents + a 10 year old. First the Rome scavenger hunt, which was semi private with another family. Amazing, and what a great way to learn about Rome’s history, famous sites, and neighborhoods! We saw so many of the major sites, but also avoided crowds. Maria Claudia deftly and safely walked us through the streets of Rome, explaining unique thing we wouldn’t have ever noticed! The kids loved identifying the things they’ve learned along the way, spotting “SPQR” and “Madonellas.” There was just enough talking for them to learn but not enough to be boring. It was hot, but MariaClaudia showed us the free cold fountains, kept us in the shade as much as possible, and kept our minds off the heat with fun facts and activities. My son thought it was so fun! The next day, we did a private Vatican tour, joined by grandma. Again, crowded (but she noted less so because of the holiday?) but she expertly maneuvered us through. My son is very much into mythology so she made sure to take us through some of the mythology related art. She was very knowledgeable and showed us things we never would have noticed. We thought it was the perfect amount of time for all of us - my husband has been and loves the Vatican, but even he thought it was a great experience. But best of all, we all had a great time. Overall - don’t hesitate. If you’re on a family trip, make sure to book with Maria Claudia! You won’t be disappointed! My only regret was not booking her for the Colosseum!

Great tour - Simona was great with kids! - We had an excellent tour with Simona! She was so engaging (and patient!) with the kids in the group, who ranged in age from 3.5-8. The treasure hunt game kept the kids' attention the whole time and we all learned a lot about Rome and some of its key historical sites. Marie Claudia advised me in advance that the tour would not be geared towards the 3 year old but he was happy to ride along and the other kids were ages 5+ and all loved it. Definitely recommend this tour and guide!

Perfect family tour - Mariaclaudia had our 6 year old engaged from start to finish with her informative tour and treasure hunt around Rome. So much fun, and we all learnt so much. Even our “too cool” 10 year old couldn’t resist the final challenge and found herself running around piazza Navona with the other kids to beat the adults! Thank you for a lovely tour.

Vatican Museum and Colosseum with MariaClaudia - We had a fantastic time with Alessandra doing private tour of the Vatican Museum and a group tour of the Colosseum. Alessandra is kind, funny and very knowledgeable and kept our 11 daughter engaged all through. Thank you, we learnt so much! It was easy communicating with Mariaclaudia and making the reservations! Mariaclaudia has been responsive even though she is super busy!

Amazing tour of the Vatican, Sistine Chapel, and St Paul’s Basilica for families with young children with Maria - Maria was simply wonderful from start to finish. My wife and I, along with our 3 children (ages 5, 8, 10) did a private tour with Maria which was super fun, engaging, and full of information. Even my 5 yo (who is typically very shy) was asking her questions. She set the tine early with her energy and kept the energy up the entire tour! The kids did not complain once and actually said they LOVED the full experience. There is so much to see that it could easily be overwhelming but with Maria time flew and it was a breeze!! We took other tours during our time in Rome and this was hands down our favorite. I simply cannot recommend it more !

BEST Tours for Families - Fun and Engaging - We enjoyed two Maria Claudia Tours (Scavenger Hunt Rome and Colosseum) and we can see why they book out early 😀 The tours were superbly led by Veronica and Alessandra. A perfect blend of learning/history with lots of laughs and fun. The kids on each tour were engaged as we traipsed around the sites. In fact, one of my friends who travels without kids preferred these tours as they were so much fun. We were in Italy for one month and these were our favourite tours of the whole trip. Definitely recommend for families.

Great experience for kids, highly recommend!!! - Veronica was great! She explained things in a way the kids could easily understand and kept them engaged with interesting stories and a points scoring game.

Maria is Mary Poppins with an ancient history degree and street knowledge of Rome. Our children loved her. 10/10 - Visiting Rome is a once in a lifetime experiment for our family. Instead of parade my children from one historical site to another. We spent four magical day with Maria, whose knowledge of the city and ancient history plus her story telling skills. Make Rome and its history came to life for my children. Thanks to Maria my children have fond memories of one of the most amazing cities of the world. Thank you Maria

Try to book her tour! - Mariaclaudia was great. We really enjoyed her tour a lot! We wish we did more with her. She engages the kids and makes the whole tour fun even for the adults. Highly recommend.

Great Tours for Kids. - We did two tours with Mariaclaudia and they were both fantastic. Our three daughters (7, 9 and 11) were very engaged and even one month later remember what they learned. Would highly recommend.
