Delicious food, friendly and knowledgeable guide, ending with a beautiful rooftop and Spritz - We really enjoyed this food tour. The food was great, Aurelio, our guide was telling us all about Italian history, culture and of course food. All the places we went were small, unique and not crowded at all. We ended the tour at a nice private rooftop, making our own Spritz. Such a great experience!

Tasty tour with a great path - It was a great experience to try local tastes while wondering amongst the beautiful streets of Rome. We enjoyed every part of it. Our guide was very nice and always gave us interesting informations about the streets we walked through. Even though it’s a food tour, we also enjoyed a lot the path we walked through, was very picturesque. Food was amazing!Everything we tried were very tasty and well-chosen products. Most the products we didn’t know, and we are very glad to had to chance to try. The last stop, rooftop was very relaxing and beautiful. It was a great end for a great tour.

Tasting Street Food Like a Local in Rome: A Truly Wonderful Experience - Exploring Rome like a local was such a delightful experience. We had an amazing day with our tour guide, Aurelio. He provided us with detailed information about everything we ate, and we also learned the secrets of making the perfect spritz on a beautiful rooftop. Creating our own spritzes was incredibly exciting too. If you come to Rome and want to eat and drink like a local, this tour is an absolute must!

Very informative, fun, and tasty! - Our tour guide Fernanda was incredible! She was so kind and knowledgeable and was very open to questions and discussion. She shared a lot of great history on the impact of the Jewish people on roman food and culture. The only surprise was that our group ended up being incredibly small, only three of us, so that was a bit of a different experience than expected, but I didn’t feel that she gave the tour any less attention because of our small size. We did think that we would spend more time in the Jewish quarter, but it happened to be a holiday so many places were closed. Good to know and double check for the future. The food was very good though and Fernanda was super mindful and kind about dietary restrictions/adjustments. We had a great evening!

Highlights from Romes Culinary Traditions - Aurelio was great! Fun way to experience the Jewish Quarters and the Trastevere neighborhood. Food and drinks included: Jewish fried artichoke, suppli (rice ball), baccala (dried salted cod), ciammbella (Napoletan donut), embraica (Jewish pizza from from Pasticceria Boccione), local beer at Johnny’s Off License and topped off with a rooftop charcuterie and learning how to make a Spritz. I recommend bringing water and be prepared that there are a lot of fried foods which were born out of restricted access and necessary resourcefulness in the face of poverty. Highly recommend!
