Wonderful tour! - The dome was majestic and all the intricate details of the mosaic paintings. Our guide was amazing. Very thorough, knowledgeable and flexible!

Stellar views! - I participated as a solo traveler and could not have enjoyed seeing the basilica more. The tour length was just enough to move through the security and entry cues, ascend the Dome and hear about and see inside St Peter’s. I appreciate how our guide kept things lively while we waited in cue! She was a native Roman and very passionate and knowledgeable about St. Peter’s and the Vatican. The Dome climb was one-way up and a different passageway down, so once you’ve begun, you’re committed. The view of Rome and the Vatican is immeasurable, so just keep going! At the tour’s end, we were welcomed to walk around the cathedral’s interior. I recommend a tour reservation time as early in the day as possible (mine was 7:45am). Touring St. Peter’s and the Dome consumed my half a day (say, 7:30-11 or 11:30) which was perfection.

Amazing tour and guide. - Serena did an amazing job as our guide. She made it educative and fun at the same time. Queue time was not that bad. The breakfast that was included was also good, you should definitely order a coffee from this place.

Absolutely amazing! - The tour guide was very informative and did a great job navigating through the crowds. But be aware that there are very long lines to get through security. It was very crowded and took about an hour. There are no “skip the line “ tickets. Everyone must go through security.
The climb to the top of the Dome is extremely steep and very narrow. I am 5’ and 116 lbs and at the top, the walls were about 6 inches from my sides. The view from the top was absolutely stunning. A must see!!
Of course, the actual Basilica is amazing. I would definitely recommend this tour!

Bucket List - At 70 years old. On our bucket list was see Rome from the top of St. Peter’s dome.
Thanks to the elevator half way up we managed the rest of the steps all the up to the dome and looked down at St Peter’s square.. Thank you for making this possible..

A kind of stressfull - Too little time at the top of the cupola.
Not a harmonic and angaging story telling by the guide. A bit disappointing though we undersyit it is not an easy job with this amount of people and she did her very best.

Operator took out money but didn’t provide anything! - I would avoid this operator. We were referred to their tour by a third party booking agent. So we tried booking with them in Oct 2024 for a Nov 2024 tour day. After giving them our payment info we were told they didn’t have availability for the day we wanted so we booked elsewhere but they charged us anyway and wouldn’t refund us (we have all the emails confirming their unprofessional actions). Our booking agent stepped in with a partial refund but our experience with Vox City left a whole lot to be desired.

Unnecessary! Download audio guide from the internet, queue yourself and save a lot of money! - If you want to save money, keep your hands off HeadOut! You have to wait in line as long as anyone!!!
