Very informative tour with Volo - Our tour guide, Volo, was absolutely fantastic—knowledgeable, engaging, and incredibly informative. He provided a wealth of insight throughout the entire experience, making our visit even more memorable. His passion for history and attention to detail truly enhanced the tour, bringing the Vatican’s incredible art, architecture, and history to life. It was fascinating to explore such an iconic place with someone who could explain its significance so clearly. The breathtaking grandeur of St. Peter’s Basilica, every moment was enriched by his expertise. We couldn’t have asked for a better guide—highly recommended!

Book this tour!!!! - We are new to the Catholic faith and wanted to experience St. Peter’s Basilica. We didn’t know the Vatican museum was not part of the Basilica. So on a whim we booked this tour last minute. One of the best decisions, it truly is a life changing tour. First, Peter is a gracious tour guide and made sure we understood the importance of Vatican City and what it means to the world and to the body of believers. The Basilica is rich with history and Peter did not leave anything out. The line took about an hour, but with Peter as our guide made time go by fast and made you even more excited to go inside. We went down into the catacombs to see where some early Popes are laid to rest. Then we passed by the tomb of Saint Peter, which is amazing thing to say one has done. The final part of the tour was rounding the stairs and making the final stop on the ground level of the Basilica. That moment took my breath away. I have not seen anything man made before that was truly amazingly beautiful! Words cannot do it justice. All the glory to God and his kingdom. I highly recommend taking this tour, it’s worth all the time and energy that goes into. You do not want to miss it!

Awe inspiring - An extraordinary experience. Vito was really knowledgeable and made the information interesting. We loved the focus on symbolism. I didn’t need the crypt add on at the end but loved the chance to go to the Holy Door!

Very Knowledgeable Tour Guide - Lydia, our tour guide, was amazing. She knew every aspect of St Peter’s Bsilica and answered many questions in-depth. She made sure everyone’s listening devices were working and was careful not to leave anyone behind. We were glad this tour was offered on a Sunday, our only day available to visit the Vatican City. Though on Sunday the Systine Chapel and the Vatican Museum were closed and due to the upgrade of a security barrier around the Pieta, only a replica was on display. Lydia’s knowledge about the many other features made this tour memorable and worthwhile.

100% Recommended St. Peter's Basilica Tour - We went on a family trip to Rome, and took this tour of St. Peter's Basilica. We loved everything we saw, but above all we must highlight the passion with which Sean told us the story at all times, has you hooked on everything that counts until the end of the tour, thanks to his great knowledge of the history. Even the wait in the square until you can enter the Basilica becomes short, as it tells you its story. It is an excellent guide, I definitely recommend Vivaroma tours 100%

Good value for price - Our guide Marina was nice. We waited in the security line about an hour, which considering it's the vatican is considered a short wait. She showed us as much as possible. The vatican is huge so it would take days to see it all. Our guide did well navigating the crowds and keeping our group together. It's worth taking this tour.

Great guide made the tour fantastic! - The guide made the tour fantastic. It constantly rained and we stood in the rain for 1.5 hrs before entering the basilica, Shaun the guide spoke the whole time and was a wealth of information.
