Octopus and Macaupus - It's convenient to buy an Octopus (a transportation IC card) when you go to Hong Kong. You can buy it not only at the airport but also at major subway stations. Not only can you buy things at convenience stores, but you can also use it at the First Food Court on the first floor of department stores. You can definitely use it wherever there is an Octopus presentation machine on the counter. When I left Hong Kong, I wanted to use up the amount on my card, so I used my Octopus at a cafe in the airport, but the amount of coffee and muffins exceeded the amount on the card. But I was able to buy the remaining amount by adding Hong Kong dollars. If you ask, they will check how much is left on the card. Of course, you can get a refund at the last subway station, but... However, it is inconvenient because you have to go to the office that issues the Macau Pass to get a refund. There is usually a food court on the top floor of the casino. I always paid for dinner for two days with an Octopus at this food court. Just like in Hong Kong, if you don't have enough, you add cash. So you can use up the amount on the card. In Macau, Hong Kong dollars can be used at a 1:1 ratio with patacas (Macau currency). However, shops in the city may give you Hong Kong dollars and get patacas in change, so it's better to use a Macau Pass or give exact Hong Kong dollars whenever possible. To do this, I recommend using the currency exchange offices in casinos or places like banks to break down your money into smaller amounts like $10 or $20 in advance.

Biking Rome - Great way to see Rome. Many of the roads have bike paths made it a great way to get around. We had 10 people and found this a great and economical way to tour the city.

Fabulous day - What a day we had riding the e-bikes around Rome. The guy at the rental place was extremely helpful with instructions and tips for where to go. Once we got the hang of of bikes and the city streets we were off, riding through the traffic and really embracing the city. Much better than doing an organised bike tour as we could set our own pace and agenda, referencing google when we needed help or historical information. Would highly recommend.

Great way to explore Rome - Freedom to roam Rome. Was great fun exploring Rome by bike. Adults enjoyed just as much as kids. Our first experience on electric bikes 🚲 would definitely do it again.

Good experience - Had a good time riding around the city. Got a little dicey on the busy roads but was better on the smaller streets. They set us up with a maps program that took us to several important locations tha man who gave us the bikes was nice and helpful. Next time I would do the electric bikes instead.

Bike path is closed! - Be ware that the bike path is not currently open! We were not told this when we booked or before we arrived. You have to ride on a bike path beside the road in the city and then there is a park that you can ride around for a bit. It would be fine for adults but it is not currently very family friendly due to the bike path being closed. The bikes were in good condition and the man that helped us was very friendly.

Bike ok, service poor - On arrival at the Lungotevere Bike Point there was no staff present for the check-in. I should apparently understand that the bike that stood ready was for me. Finally the non-informed barman of the tennisclub checked me in. Bike was ok, so was helmet and lock. When coming back there was again nobody of the staff. Discussion with the barman about the fee as I had already paid a deposit. Not to be recommended.
