The first masonry stadium in Rome (1st century AD) for athletics and boxing competitions.
We will then go down to the basement to discover its beauties. - Teatro di Marcello - We will pass under the theater of Marcello, an extraordinary and little-known structure, very reminiscent of the Colosseum.

Embark on a journey to understand the core of Rome’s subterranean wonders with us. Our exploring destinations include:
The Virgin Aqueduct
Once upon a time, Rome was provided with water by as many as 11 aqueducts, a scale which was matched only in contemporary times. We will guide you through the basement of a commercial center to witness the old aqueduct. Following this, we will observe the point at which the water is discharged, the renowned Trevi fountain.
The Domitian Stadium
Piazza Navona, the must-see spot for visitors in Rome, inherits its shape from an ancient Roman stadium, the Stadio di Domiziano. It was Rome’s first stone-built stadium (1st-century AD), used for athletic and pugilistic events. We will then descend to the basement to unveil its sophisticated allure.
The Capuchin Crypt
A graveyard uniquely constructed from skeletal remains! The chambers are ornate with the remnants of approximately 4,000 members of the monastic order. Inscribed at the close of the crypt is: ‘What we were, you are now. What we are now, you will be.’
