Very informative tour - I booked a relatively last minute tour with Rome Your Way Tours as my previous booking with another company was cancelled due to lack of numbers. Our trip was to Vatican City to see the museums, Sistine Chapel and St Peter's Basilica and it was a great tour as they're were only four of us and our guide was very informative. Our tour started at 1145 so we had enough time for breakfast and to make our way to the meeting point from our hotel. Our tour guide was Riccardo who was excellent as he was very engaging and knowledgeable. We didn't feel rushed and felt he went into great detail about Michaelangelo's Sistine Chapel and all the stories that the painting tells that you wouldn't necessarily notice but when they were pointed out you felt like you had just discovered some little secret! The Vatican Museums were vast and had a lot of artwork that was familiar. St Peter's Basilica was also very overwhelming and the pieces of art and the statues inside were truly amazing. We felt this tour was 100% value for money and felt we learnt a lot and now have a better understanding and more appreciation for the Basilica and the Sistine Chapel especially.

Not enough time in Museum. - This tour was advertised as a three hour skip the line tour. We began on time, had to get through security, then get tickets, then get audio gear. The tour was informative, but the pace was entirely too fast. There was no time to take anything in once inside the museum, between navigating the crowds, trying to listen to the audio that kept falling off my ear, take pics etc it was not very enjoyable. I feel like I barely saw anything. I had to go back to my pictures to see what all I missed. The crowds were not reduced by much in my opinion. I would not recommend if you enjoy reading any info or actually absorbing what you are seeing. The entire thing start to finish was only two hours. We enjoyed the part after the Sistine chapel more than the tour because we could take our time and actually see the things there were. The guide was very friendly just the tour itself was entirely too sped along for me.

DISASTER. - On April I booked five people on the June 16 tour. Received confirmation and follow up reminders. A group of us waited at the meeting point a half a hour after specified time, when a message w came that tour was canceled. We were horribly disappointed on our last night in Rome. Even worse, I am out €351 plus €100 taxi fare and cannot reach Rome Your Way by phone or email. I relied on this company because of good Trip Advisor reviews and am furious. My advice is DO NOT USE THEM. Any advice on resolving the issue would welcome.

No notice cancellation - The tour was cancelled and I was never informed. Rearranged our family evening so I could be at the meeting spot by 19:00. Was there by 18:45 and waited for 20 min. But no one ever showed or called. I finally got ahold of someone and they told me I shouldn’t have been able to even book because all tours had been suspended. She assured me I would get a refund but still nothing yet.
