Explore the St. Peter’s Basilica, the largest church in the world. Alternatively, if the Basilica isn’t open, you can appreciate the Raphael Rooms, regarded as one of the key masterpieces of Italian Renaissance.

Excellent navigator and knowledgeable guide - A wonderful tour with our guide Manuelo. He was very knowledgeable and helped to navigate the large expanse of antiquities and art work. Left us to enjoy the splendor of St. Peter’s Bascilica on our own. Highly recommend.

Afternoon stroll through the Vatican on a tour with Elizabeth our tour guide - My friends said she was happy with the tour because the guide discussed the details of the tour during the tour. She said she noticed other tour guides discussed the tour at the meeting point.
Elizabeth was our tour guide, in her bag she had information to share with the group that we passed around and discussed. During the tour she shared a brief history about Italy, the statues, rooms and pictures. She is knowledgeable about her country and history and enjoys her work.

Best way to see and learn about the Vatican museum and St. Peter’s Basilica - Our guide Ribal was both informative and humorous. Despite being involved in guided tours for 18 years he seemed to be really enthusiastic about describing all of the wonders of the Vatican. There is so much there, and it is overwhelming without his guidance. Highly recommended!!

Great visit to the Vatican Museum/Sistine Chapel - You really need to have a tour guide in the Vatican Museum! It is vast and you will miss the highlights without a guide. Our guide shared a lot of information about Michelangelo and the painting of the Sistine chapel which really helped us get the most out of this incredible room. This tour allows you to visit St. Peter's Basilica on your own but, without a guide, it is quite overwhelming! So choose a different tour if you would like to have a guide show you around the basilica.

We will NEVER use Viator again, buyer beware, their tours are a bait and switch! - My 5 friends and I booked a tour of the Vatican, which was to include the museums Sistine Chapel with St. Peter’s Basilica. We were told we would have an English speaking tour guide, which we did but her English was so broken we couldn’t understand a single word she said! On top of that she kept clearing her throat, on the microphone, at least every 30 seconds! To top everything off she wasn’t able to take us into St. Peter’s Basilica because our tour was booked on a Wednesday and the Pope holds a private audience there every Wednesday! The Basilica was the main reason we booked this tour and had we known about not being able to have access into it, we would have booked the tour on another day! We called Viator and they will not refund one penny of the $700 we paid for this disappointing experience!
Obviously I would never recommend this tour!!
