Amazing Tour guide! - We took a family trip to Rome, and had a guided tour through the Vatican City and Sistine Chapel. Paulina was our guide, and she did an AMAZING job. She kept the tour moving at a good pace (we never felt rushed and we never felt like it was dragging on). She was very patient and had so much knowledge to share. The information we learned from her was incredible and made the experience so much better than if we’d gone alone.

Excellent - worth every penny! - The guide was brilliant. So knowledgeable. His English was excellent, he was funny and warm and we learnt so much. I was so impressed. Would absolutely 100% recommend you book this trip.

AMAZING - Our guide was detail oriented and very knowledgeable. He gave great insight on numerous pieces in the museum as well as the Sistine chapel. He did such a great job at pointing out important pieces and explaining their story. I enjoyed learning all he had to offer as well as the beautiful places this tour took us.

Exceptional experience - Our guide (sorry I dont remember his name, the tall and slim guy), was very professional, and he made our experience, unforgettable!! The tour was really enlightening and our exceptional guide kept up our interest, as though our 13th year old kids's, until the last minute of the 3-hour tour.We highly recomend it!

Skip the line absolutely needed - Skip the line. There were too many people without skip the line it would be impossible. St peter is absolutely stunning.

Buckle Up It’s Worth It - Iman was a fantastic guide. He did a terrific job keeping our group organized and informed. We were very impressed with his great knowledge of the history and the incredible art details.

Massive let-down, poorly run company - Where do I start. Tour was meant to start at 1600, arrived at 1530 to be told it was now a 1630 start, come back at 1615. We did as asked and were marched round to another office where "their colleagues" would take us on a better tour. By 1645 everyone was getting fractious as we still hadn't set off, so the girl behind the desk picks up a flag and we're told to follow her. We get to the line and find we're in the "no tickets" queue. We all show our "skip the line" tickets and are told we've been put on the wrong tour, oops, just ask for a refund but you can still go in. It was our last day in Rome and we really wanted the tour so we stuck with it. After 15 mins pass of us standing in the line, the tour guide turns round and says we've missed our spot, we have to leave, we can't get in now. We got a refund but nothing for our wasted time and travel expenses, and we couldn't go back as it was our last day in Rome. The guide just didn't care. Avoid at all costs.

Vatican and Sistine chapelle tour - I hate giving bad reviews but this was a very disappointing experience! It is advertised as skip the line but I’m not sure there is such a thing as skip the line since we waited in the sun and the heath for more than 30min. Once inside, the guide managed the time very poorly! He spent more than 30min describing posters in the courtyard when there is so much to see in the museum! Unfortunately, by the time we made it to the Sistine Chapel, it was almost closing time! Next time, we will go early in the morning and use audio guides! I’m not sure a tour guide is needed. They are a hit or miss so why take a chance!

Very BAD/TERRIBLE experience on this SKIP THE LINE! Do not recommend others to get this package with PIONEER TOURS! - This is rip off! Skip the line is what we bought yet we ended up waiting more than 30mins in the blazing sun with all others! I made a complain to the Pioneer Tour after the tour and was told there was a problem with the entrance! There was no problem when we got to enter the Museum, the problem is there really is no skip the line!!!! We paid almost €400 for this tour so very very disappointed! To add to that we got a very bad tour guide - terrible English, he is saying wrong infos, made our group stand for 15 minutes at the terrace explaining the Basilica, 30 mins hearing him talk/explain the Sistine Chapel using the posters at the courtyard - mind you, there were several groups who have come and gone and we were still there. And only after another person made the complain did he think of bringing us inside the actual museum!!! We had to almost run to make it the Sistine Chapel. And he left the group before reaching the Sistine Chapel while other guides were all inside!!! Now I understand why he was yapping that long outside coz he never intended to come in with the group! And the Pioneer Tours dispatcher had the audacity to tell me we had a good guide!!! We had a TERRIBLE guide aside from being ripped off on this SKIP THE LINE when it is really FALL IN LINE with all others! VERY DISAPPOINTED on this tour package! We have been to several tour packages with skip the line and this just blows our mind!

Awful and a waste of money!! - We paid for an English tour, and the guide’s accent was so bad, we couldn’t understand a word that she said. It was a complete waste of money!!!!!!!!
