Wonderful Tour - Our family of four was guided through the Vatican by Rachele. She did a wonderful job of leading us through the exhibits and giving us background information to help us understand what we were looking at in the museum, the basilica, and the square. The meeting point was easy to find and it was great being able to skip the line. Our entire family really enjoyed this tour.

Guided, skip the line tour . . . amazing! - Our tour was guided by Silvia De Angelis of Together in Rome and it was one of the best tours we had in Italy! She was so knowledgeable and enthusiatic that I would love to know what other tours she guides. The Vatican City is so big that 3 hours hardly does it justice but Silvia did a wonderful job in showing us all the "must sees" and was able to fit in many other details of the City while we walked along. Thank you Silvia!

So Engaging! - Francesca was not only knowledgeable, but absolutely captivating! I found myself so interested because of her passion for art. She was also wonderful navigating the tough crowds and finding comfortable space to break for her explanations, complete with maps and pictures! 10/10 on our trip to the Vatican! Thank you, Francesca, congratulations on your upcoming wedding and marriage from today’s newlywed couple!

Guided tour to Vatican is a must. - Some places can't be fully enjoyed without a professional tour, and the Vatican is one of those sites. The arrangement was made by our hotel, and at 1:30 pm, we were sitting in the cafe, our meeting place, enjoying a gelatto and a glass of sparkling. I knew that the tour will be a success just looking at this cafe - clean, busy, with friendly stuff. Precisely at 1:45, Patrizia, our tour guide, arrived. It was a small group, and we went through the security very fast, actually, the lines were very long, but our guide navigated us within a minute. Patrizia is very knowledgeable, and is quite experienced: she does not overwhelm you with the facts that you will not remember, yet everything she said (she speaks English very well, which is not always a case with the tour guides, honestly); everything she said we remembered. And she spoke for almost 3? hours :) She also managed to navigate us through the crowds, even in the Sistine Chapel, also giving us enough time to absorb the magnificence of the place. Professionalism, kindness, and experience - we loved it.

Grazie! - Our tour of the Vatican and Sistine chapel with art historian Francesca was brilliant. She expertly shepherded us through dense crowds (‘I’m little but I’m Roman!’) and her depth of knowledge was amazing. Highlights in the Museum, Sistine Chapel and Basilica were carefully pointed out and we came away with a level of understanding we could never have achieved had we visited on our own. This local tour company provides small group tours of the highest quality. Grazie Francesca and Together in Rome.

Enjoyable tour - Even though the place was very busy, Alessandro was excellent at working with the crowds and we easily survived the line ups. There is so much to see, you can't do it in a day much less 4 hours, but he was very good at pointing out highlights and interesting pieces.

A fantastic tour - I took my mother on this tour as part of her first trip to Rome. She finds it difficult to walk great distances and Alex was so considerate, ensuring we went at a pace that suited her and finding places for her to sit and rest regularly. Alex was lovely, very knowledgeable and clearly passionate about his work. The tour itself was fantastic, including exclusive access to otherwise restricted parts of the Vatican museum and, with only four in our group, the experience seemed much more personal than it would have been with a larger group. We saw everything we wanted to see without having to wait in long queues and left the tour both educated and very impressed. I could not rate this experience highly enough, thanks again Alex.

Alessandro Chiarot was our favorite tour guide amongst all of the tours we had throughout Italy!! - You could tell Alessandro truly enjoyed and had a true love and understanding of the arts. He spoke beautifully and was very concise when presenting the history and background as we proceeded through our tour so we could best understand the significance and sequence of events leading up to the creation of artworks and architecture as it proceeded through history. He made a point of memorizing every single name of every individual who was in our guided tour. We were impressed he had the names down cold! He was extremely personable and insisted on making eye contact with each and every one of us while he explained what we were about to see so that he held our undivided attention. His facts and knowledge throughout the tour captivated our interest each time he spoke. He made a point to take photos of each couple throughout the tour with our own devices to allow us to capture moments when we would arrive in an area that provided a beautiful backdrop for a picture. My husband and I both agree that we would definitely seek Alessandro out for our next visit to Italy for any tours he could provide for us. We would highly recommend requesting him personally as your tour guide!

Small group tour - I have to believe this is the best way to see the Vatican. Our group of 10 was led past long lines of people waiting to enter. Our guide was professional and organized. We had headsets for the tour which made it easy to hear everything and stay together despite large crowds. The narration by the guide was more detailed than I prefer, but that’s better than not learning anything. This is just an amazing place and I’m glad we experienced it.
