Worth the extended time! - I cannot recommend the extended 5-hour tour of the Vatican enough! We had a small group of 5 people which made navigating the crowds so much easier. You could spend weeks in the museums and Basilica but it still wouldn’t be enough time. Without a guide I would be so lost. The extended tour went by quickly, but it was the perfect amount of time for a first-time visitor. Our guide, Cynthia, was fabulous. She was so kind and patient and made sure to make our experience as personalized as possible. I was blown away by her knowledge and so grateful to have this curated tour. I was 5 months pregnant at the time of tour and worried 5 hours would be too much, but it wasn’t! We even climbed the Basilica on our own at the end. I read through several websites and blogs to pick the best tour to suit our needs and I am so thankful we went with ThroughEternity. If you have the option to do the extended tour, I would absolutely take the opportunity.

Expert guided tour - Our guide Eugenia was excellent. She is an absolute expert on the history of the art we saw! Even though it was impossible to have seen everything there was a lot of info packed into just 5 short hours.

Outstanding Tour Guide of Vatican - Absolutely wonderful tour guide. Told us about the history and religious aspects. I learned things I never knew. I could listen to Jim all day. He is funny, fact filled and told us the deeper meaning in an easy to listen to manner that is easy to retain. Highly highly recommended. We had the 150pm Wednesday June 19 tour.

Just perfect! - It was absolutely amazing. I have wanted to go visit the Vatican Museums for a long, long while. My guide, Ricardo, was very knowledgeable and made the visit a breeze. I always thought that I would enjoy myself more on my own, but this tour changed my mind. I can't reccomend Through Eternity highly enough.

Great day on the "VIP Vatican in a day" tour with a truly wonderful guide (Ms. Eugenia) - We participated in the VIP Vatican In a Day Tour: Experience Art and History As Never Before tour. Our guide (Eugenia D'Andrea) was truly wonderful. We (2 couples) had a small, intimate tour on a rainy day in mid-January. We met at 10AM and had a full day touring the Vatican Museum, Sistine Chapel, the Raphael rooms, and St. Peter's. My wife and I have professional backgrounds in architecture and art history and booked the longer tour (5 hours, instead of the 3 hour version). We walked in knowing a lot but were still blown away with how good of a job Eugenia did guiding us through the works and weaving together interesting stories to explain the significance of what we were seeing. I think the tour was supposed to run from 10:00 - 3:30 but she stayed with us longer to answer questions and ensure that we saw everything we could. What a wonderful tour guide and professional! I can't imagine trying to tackle this museum alone, especially during high season. It is so big and can get really crowded. Our guide did a remarkable job showing us the highlights and some lesser known pieces to explain the cultural and historical context of the collections and their broader significance. I know that many people visit this place successfully on their own and have a good time. For us, it was absolutely worth it to take a guided tour. It made the experience more manageable, less stressful, and more meaningful to be able to learn from Eugenia and benefit from her vast experience and knowledge of this important place.

Vatican tour - John’s knowledge of the Vatican and its history was extensive. He was funny and well presented. He was able to give us sight of some closed areas from the public tour. I recommend John and his company for the Vatican tour.
