The best way to see Rome. - The absolute best way to see Rome. The team at Vespasidecar were excellent from start to finish. 7 of us set off at 9am with the drivers for a fantastically informative journey through the streets of Rome, covering far more ground than would be possible on foot, a bike or in a car. Winding down alleyways and flying through tunnels and roads by the Tiber added to the excitement as the main locations of Rome were explained in detail and put into context of the overall history of city. The drivers were very responsive to questions and made sure that the radio communications kept everyone connected to the main tour guide. A timely cappuchino and cornetto, with stops at the various locations nicely broke up the tour. Highly recommend the tour to anyone going to Rome. One of the highlights of what was a superb long weekend.

Family fun in Rome. Recommend! - This was one of the highlights of our trip. The whole family enjoyed the tour. Matteo and the drivers were excellent, respectful, informative and very friendly. We were recommended by some friends who did it a year ago and it was great.

Sidecar Tour with Cappuccino - I did the private Vespa sidecar tour with Luca. He metme up promptly at my apartment address in the center of Rome. After fitting me with a headphone and a helmet, he settled me into the sidecar, buckled me in, and off we went! As we went down my neighborhood street, people smiled, waved, and took pictures of us. Made me feel like I was famous or something! This was a private, three-hour tour looking at monuments around Rome. Most were seen from the outside, and this was clearly indicated when I booked the tour. No surprises there. I got to see, from a different perspective, the Vatican and St. Peter's, the Gianicolo viewpoint, a ton of churches, the Colosseum, and so much more. I had a personal tour of the inside of the Pantheon and a cornetto and cappuccino nearby for a break. Luca was very informative, and I learned so much from him. At no time did I feel unsafe in the busy Roman traffic. I would recommend this tour to anyone who wants a different look at the beautiful city that is Rome.

Epic experience for a female solo traveler: Alessio and Manuel are kings 👑 - LOVED this tour with Alessio and Manuel. Such a fun way to spend your first morning in Rome. I got to see the most iconic spots: Trevi Fountain, the Pantheon, outside of St. Peter’s Basilica and more. Alessio incorporated a lot of humor in his tour style, which made it such a fun experience. You feel like a celebrity as you zip through the streets—people smile, point, and wave. I went in January, which was a little chilly, but Manuel has a blanket and hot water bottle to keep me warm. As a 29-year-old solo traveler, this was a fun activity where I felt cared for and included. Thank you for such a great tour!!! 🛵

Amazing experience in Rome - Probably the best way to get to know the city!! Matteo is a great guide!! Very trained and always willing to explain and help you. The experience with Vespa is unique!! You see many places that are very difficult to see by yourself on foot or by transport!! It's the funniest way to see the city!!! I highly recommend it!!!

Great way for a family to experience Rome - We did this tour on our first morning in Rome with our children aged 12 and 15, and it was the perfect way of introducing them to the city. Even some drizzle in the last hour of the tour didn't dampen our enjoyment of zipping around the streets of Rome and being introduced to a range of sights. It's not cheap, but it was definitely a memorable highlight of our holiday. Our guide Alessio was fantastic and was committed to ensuring we had a great experience.

Book it! :) - My friend and I were literally sitting in the airport on the way to Rome and one of our originally booked activities was canceled on us... so we searched for "fun things to do in Rome" and landed on this little company for a Vespa Sidecar tour and we ended up LOVING it. I'd 100% recommend this tour to everyone. It was my first time on a Vespa (the guide drove for us, I rode behind him and my friend sat in the sidecar), and it felt both thrilling and safe;) It's a great way to see the highlights of Rome! Helmets are provided, along with earpieces so you can listen in on details the guide provides on the sites while riding around. Our guide, Alessio, couldn't have been more lovely! (As a side, note- please remember to tip your tour guides, guys!!!)
