Roman Forum - To truly understand life in Ancient Rome, you must visit the Forum. In downtown Rome’s political, social, and commercial heart, you will walk the Via Sacra and the Via Nova, weaving around ornate arches and towering temples. See the Senate House and the remains of the Rostra - where Senators made the laws and orators decreed them to the masses.
Learn more about the myth-shrouded Romulus or the great Julius Caesar from your expert guide. Although less than half of the Forum is complete today, they’re sure to be able to tell you everything you want to know with their extensive knowledge and passion!

After meeting your guide by the Arch of Constantine, you’ll enter the every stop on your tour with your priority access tickets. Your local, expert historian will guide you through the rich history of Rome’s most iconic monument and the once bustling ancient city that surrounds it.

- Please provide the full names of all travelers when booking. Failure to present a voucher with all travelers’ full names at the ticket office prior to entry may result in denied entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Each traveler must present a valid passport or ID document that matches the name provided at the time of booking for successful entry to the Colosseum and Roman Forum.
- Please note we will either start with the Colosseum or the Roman Forum/Palatine Hill depending on the time of tickets we can purchase
- Colosseum admission is free on the first Sunday of the month. Tours are discounted on these days.
- Please be aware that we offer two Arena tour packages: The VIP Colosseum - Arena Access option grants entry to the Colosseum, Arena floor, Palatine Hill, and Roman Forum. The Arena, Roman Forum & Palatine option provides access to the Arena floor via an exclusive entrance and continues with visits to the Roman Forum and Palatine Hill. Arena, Roman Forum& Palatine option does not visit the Colosseum, it access to Arena floor only.

Must see in Rome - It is a must see while in Rome. The guide was not very nice when a few in our group had trouble with a taxi to the meeting place that was a little hard to find when they drop you off, but overall the tour was good

Colosseum tour - Paulo was such an amazing guide. His passion and knowledge for the colosseum had both mine and my partners full attention. He is an entertainer to say the least, I loved how he was able to engage with everyone in his group and get to know us all on a personal level as well. I will be recommending friends to use carpe diem tours and to ask for Paulo :)

Great tour and guide! Highly recommend! - Tour was exceptional, both from a tour guide standpoint, and the history given. Tour guide was welcoming, knowledgeable, and made the excursion fun.
While the tour was great, it was very hot, plan accordingly with neck, fans, umbrellas, and lots of water.

Colosseum tour - Paolo is an amazing tour guide. He is personable and informative. The tour was one of the highlights of our trip. He has a wealth of knowledge of history and shared a great deal our group about the Colosseum. After our tour, he gave us the name of a great restaurant to go to for dinner. Fantastic experience!!!

Do not reserve, or you could waste your money - Do not waste your money. Nor only they will give you a poor service, but you would risk,not to get any tour, as they are very disorganized. You could get a much better price once arrived to the Colosseam ( even a private tour for less). They do not warrant your service, on the top if you arrived late which is very possible as you have to find a meeting point with no directions and they have several agents with the same identification.
