A deep-rooted delicious experience at Dona Felisa - It was an enormous pleasure to see the beautiful land, learn about the winery's project, and taste six of their delicious and amazingly varied wines.
This fully organic vineyard is a pleasure to look at, and the owners' mission, now over 25 years rooted, is an inspiration. As a USian, I admire the European culture's priority for craft and quality over profit-- do things right, people seem to say, and most likely there will be enough profit. The owners at Dona Felisa are exemplars of this approach, having learned their land and soil and microclimates as they gradually planted and learned through cultivating and harvesting what the land could so. They have planted and are operating for the long term., and producing marvels.
Though the owners knew vineyarding and winemaking methods before they invested in this property, and they have needed to learn and are still learning how the grapes and terroir and climate, weather and time collaborate in vt and bottle. Their library of Dona Felisa wines is an impressive store of continuing knowledge in itself.
And while the vineyard is not large, the hilly land produces grapes to create a surprising number of stunning wines. We got to try six, from a Chardonnay and a blush to two quite distinctive pretty heavyweight reds, and those do not exhaust the varieties they make. We got to try them with two delicious assortments of canapés chosen by staff to suit the wines-- not only tasty but enough for our almuerzo.
Reservations are required, and the gates are opened at the appointed time.
We have only one advisory, really: sometimes the wifi signal is too weak for it to be possible to pay for wines you purchase by credit card, so make sure you bring cash. I will be surprised if you don't want to take one home-- we did.

You won’t regret a trip here - Just spent 2.5 hours at this amazing place. We had a tour and learned of their history and their wine making and then sampled 7 wines paired with an absolutely fabulous multi course lunch. We have done food pairings all over and this honestly was one of the finest.

Visit to the winery with tapas - It was an unforgettable and super interesting experience for those who love good wine. Highly recommended to do in couple or family. We made the visit with tapas. The truth was that all the wines were exquisite and above all the combination I made with tapas.

Visit not to be missed!! - The tasting / tapas (wine pairing) experience was fantastic. We were a very small group, which we are looking for and suits us very well.
The explanations of our host were clear and concise. An accelerated course on grape varieties, the transformation of vines to wines and, of course, the visit of the vineyard.
We loved it!
I recommend this vineyard without hesitation!!

Really impressed - A highlight of our trip to Ronda. This was an excellent vineyard tour. Gemna was a super guide, very informative and lovely to chat to. The wine tasting was delicious and varied, but the food was the real surprise!! We got the full lunch option and the quantity and quality of food was unexpected and outstanding. Proper homemade Spanish tapas, truly unique and delicious

Great vineyard experience - Fabulous trip to Doña Felisa vineyard. Interesting to see the whole process from the grape to the glass. Our host was great explaining all the different processes in English for us and in Spanish for another couple. Tapas with wine tasting afterwards was lovely, outside in the shade. Thank you for a lovely day.

Disappointing. - - I have no idea how this place has such good reviews. First of all you have to drive up an un paved extremely bumpy dirt road for 10 minutes leading up to the winery- hopefully you don’t get a flat tire on the way there or back. The tour itself was extremely rushed, we could hardly understand anything our tour guide was saying. Once we got to the tasting we were SWARMED with wasps. One man in our group got stung. They were all over the tapas they gave us and we were stressed the whole time about getting stung. The tasting itself was also extremely rushed. She didn’t explain what we were drinking or any of the notes or how it was made or different from the other. Basically she just named the wine once and asked what we wanted. The wine was mediocre at best some of it was actually BAD. Would not recommend.
