A great agrotourism activity close to Ronda - We learned so much and really enjoyed our tour of the olive oil mill and the beautiful bull inspired building and grounds that surround it. The olive oil tasting was great and educational. We would highly recommend this tour!

What a discovery, renowned architect Philippe Starck has made a sublime project - Lovely! Philippe Starck, the architect who also designed the Guggenheim Bilbao, created La Almazara in Ronda. LA Organic olive oil estate recreated into an artistic destination where nature and art come together. Open since October 2024, breathtaking and soon a restaurant will open in La Almazara. De setting is Maravillosa. Definitely worth a visit

What a stunning place. - We absolutely loved our visit here this week. The museum is a stunning piece of architecture designed by Philippe Starck. Amazing! Loved the lower floor with its kitchen and eating area (sadly not yet open) but would make a superb party/wedding venue. The olive oil tasting itself was very enjoyable and we learnt a lot about the process of making organic EVOO. Loved it all!

A must stop in Ronda - Ticked all possible boxes of a "stop on the journey" Super interesting Informative Beautiful Tasty Left the Philippe Starck designed and newly inaugurated "bull house" but a sense of being an olive oil professional

To do near Ronda! - A very nice discovery in the immediate vicinity of Ronda. Building designed by Philippe Starck, very original. We did the little guided tour (in English, but the guide spoke French too). Not bad but it could be even more didactic, especially about the estate, its history, its gardens. The tour ends with a tasting of olive oil, very nice.

Good experience - Visiting Spain’s first oil mill museum is wonderful. The place is beautiful. The only catch is that the time is limited to enjoy the place and the tasting, as the expression says we were going a bit to “kill horse”.

Great trip - Amazing building. Great to taste different oils and have them explained. Guide could have been louder and clearer in his instructions. Whilst tasting oils there were some loud groups eating which made it difficult to hear.

Disappointing - Hm. Whilst it was nice to find something outside of Rhonda to do and visiting an olive oil farm is a fantasy of most Brits, this is very new and there is very little there yet. Note that you cannot see the starke Museum thing without buying a ticket for the whole tour as this is a private enterprise. The guide could doeith better English, the facts you actually learn about olives are disappointingly few especially given the fact that we were rushed through the museum bit and it’s so dark in there you can hardly see anything! The olive oil tasting was two little plastic cups and we had to decide which of the two was more aromatic - tiny bits of bread very ungenerous. A note to the owners. You are missing a huge opportunity here to provide more and better food and to increase your merchandise by selling olive oil products like hand soap and bath gels people are there to buy and you have essentially four different bottles of olive oil in the whole place.
