Amazing tour and guide Sophie! - We had an absolutely fantastic experience on the Bangkok Tuk Tuk Food Tour by Night! The food was delicious and varied, and the tuk tuk rides made exploring the city so much fun. The real highlight, though, was our guide Sophie. She was incredibly knowledgeable, enthusiastic, and full of interesting stories about Bangkok and its food scene. Sophie’s positive energy and attention to detail made us feel welcome and ensured we all had a memorable night. I can’t recommend this tour enough-especially if you’re lucky enough to have Sophie as your guide!

Tuk-tuk, Alleys, Great Food, and Fun! - We’re used to dining from “fine” to “down home”, and have traveled many places in the world. But we would never have discovered the little joints our guide, Sophie, took us to…some down very “rustic” alleys we likely would never have thought to explore, and frankly we might have hesitated going into a couple of them!! But it was a kick and we had a ball! The food overall was delicious, authentic, and fun to eat. We started with a noodle soup, and had Chinese dim sum, Thai dishes, grilled meat and a spicy green papaya salad, where the heat built and Sophie laughed saying it was only 1 chili hot! At that place, the grilled meat was served with a sauce that had sticky rice powder in it to accompany the delicious pork, and also sticky rice itself. Following that theme, because we were stuffed, Sophie got us dessert-to-go, and it was the wonderful Mango and Sticky Rice…which, when we enjoyed it later back at our hotel, was to die for. Interspersed with the stops, Sophie gave us some history of Thailand, of Bangkok, and of Chinatown. She was friendly and open to our questions, and our concerns. The latter had more to do with our personal situation of not wanting to walk too much ~ in the heat and because my partner is about to have a knee replacement next month. This is one of the reasons we thought a tuk-tuk tour would make sense for us. We appreciated her understanding and altering the tour a bit to accommodate our needs, like skipping walking to see a temple or a rooftop view. Also worthy of an appreciative nod was Alex’s good and timely communication prior to the tour, with meeting arrangements, etc. The only real caveat we have about this tour is for others who might, like us, be less spry ~~ because getting into and out of the tuk-tuk was surprisingly a bit of a challenge, needing to duck under the chrome awning bar and double over to fit into the small, raised floor of the cab area. It took maneuvering! Yet in review, thanks to Sophie, our skillful driver, and the terrific, delicious food at each place, we had a great and memorable time!

Trying the different foods and some of the quirky little restaurants was a great experience. But the trip was made by our amazing tour guide Sophie. Bangkok food tour - Sophie was a great guide and the food was outstanding. We went to dining places we would have never found on our own. The view from the rooftop bar was spectacular, The ride home in tuk tuk’s were an added bonus.

Brilliant experience - A brilliant experience led by Sophie - it was more than a food tour as Sophie told us a lot of interesting information about Bangkok and took us to a couple of other areas such as the flower market and the symbol of Bangkok. The tuktuk drivers were great and all the food delicious. Takes the worry away from choosing your own street food. Would highly recommend to anyone :-) one of the best things we did whilst in Bangkok and well worth the money!

Sophie was a great guide.... - Sophie was a great guide. Loved the food but it was too much. Didn’t need to go to view the palace and the swing. Other than that I would highly recommend!

A fun tour, but can be improved food wise - Overal we enjoyed the experience. Our guide Sophie was very friendly and we were completely happy in her company. On the food side, I think there is a room for improvement. Firstly, the food sequence felt a bit odd (soup, dim sums, desert, desert, main, soup, salad, main, main). Dishes themselves were quite nice. Althoough some of them were more chinese rather than thai, as the whole tour takes place in the chinatown. As a foodie, I would also prefer more information about the food - a brief guide to receipes, whi they were made, etc., and probably to annonce more what we gonna eat in advance. The last stop at the rooftop bar o the river is very nice in all aspects. Overall a good experience but the food offerings can be thought through a bit better, for the same pricing.
