great activity for every food fanatic - If you like cooking and Thai food, this is for you! In this private cooking class you get to prepare a three-course menu of your choosing. You can even cook several main courses instead of an appetizer or dessert.
Ann, the owner, was very friendly, patient, and accommodating. She picked us up at our hotel and drove to the local market. The grocery shopping was an experience in itself! Ann showed us how the market runs, told us about local products, and showed us how to pick good groceries. She even bought us mangosteens, which were not part of the three-course menu!
We chose to prepare Egg Rolls, Panang Curry, and Pad Thai. For the curry, we made our own curry paste from scratch. Ann was truly amazing; she adapted all the recipes to our needs and wishes. For example, my partner can't handle spice but he was able to make a curry paste, that was not spicy, while I made one that was spicy. She is also well versed with gluten and lactose free meals.
Overall, this cooking class was flawless. The kitchen was very clean, Ann was cautious regarding cross-contamination, and we learned a lot about Thai ingredients and spices. I would highly recommend this private cooking class.

Authentic experience with an expert chef! - This is one of the best Thai cooking classes we have tried. We have been to many where it is light on the cooking and standard Thai dishes taught. Chef Ann takes you to the local markets to see the culture and the raw foods (meats, veggies, fruits) and decide with you what you want to make. We made 3 rare dishes of khao soi, Thai sausages(using pig intestine), and pandan/coconut jelly. It was very hands on and you should have some basic culinary knife cooking experience. Chef Ann does guide you and she is very humourous to make it enjoyable and fun. We highly recommend this for tourists who want more intimate Thai culinary experience! Thank you Chef Ann for the memories!!

Great cooking class - must do in North Thailand - Great cooking class today with Ann.
It was just the two of us, so we chose our own dishes, from what we had seen from our time in Northern Thailand.
We only booked the night before and Ann picked us up from the hotel, took us to the market to select fresh produce for dishes we discussed.
She was able to cater for all allergies, and offer dishes that suit.
Once in the kitchen she showed us how to put the dishes together.
I’ve tried cooking Green curry, Pad Thai before, but the lessons we learnt will stay with us forever in our cooking.
We even made our own Northern sausage from scratch.
We would recommend a course with Ann while is Chiang Rai.

Highly recommended - Ann's class was excellent. We were a group of 5 mixed women and men. She picked us up at our hotel and we had an incredible time.
First he took us to a very varied market where he showed us the fresh ingredients for the recipes we decided to make.
Then he took us to his kitchen and patiently taught us step by step, and we laughed a lot and had fun while cooking with Ann.
When we finished cooking we ate what was prepared and enjoyed the result.
In short 10/10 I highly recommend Ann and this experience.
Now in Mexico 🇲🇽 we can enjoy delicious Thai food with the recipes that Ann shared with us
Thanks for the experience

Amazing cookery course, great value - Ann picks you up at your hotel and takes you to the local market where, as you wander around buying ingredients for your cookery course, she feeds you with lots of local delicacies. Back at the kitchen you prepare X4 dishes of your choice - under her watchful eye you will prepare and eat the best food you have eaten in Thailand!
She caters for gluten free, vegan ,etc - we were really impressed.
Ann speaks excellent English and is warm, funny and very knowledgeable about food, farming and Thailand in general.
We had a great evening with her

Unreservedly recommended - It was an absolutely good experience to be at Ann's cooking class. We were picked up at the hotel and delivered to a place of our choice in the city afterwards. Everything in the process was good and well thought out, and Ann was a really sweet and good guide through both the market trip and cooking. Fun to visit Ann's kitchen garden too. The course was also completed, even though there were no other participants than the two of us. Subsequently, Ann sent us the recipes - thank you for that.

Great time! - My 78 year old mother and I did Ann’s cooking class. She picked us up and we headed to the market to help figure out dinner. Tried some different things there, then off to her home to cook. We made 3 Lanna style dishes and had a blast with this lovely lady and her cute dog. We were lucky it was just the 3 of us, so we could get to know Ann. She is so sweet. We had a wonderful time.

Cooking with Ann - Ann gave us an authentic cooking experience. We had a great time going through the market she explained many different items that are staples to Thai cooking. She also had us try a variety of items throughout the market. We then went back to her house and cooked in a kitchen area she has setup for her cooking classes. We had a great time cooking and talking with Ann. She is very kind and her vast
Knowledge of cooking made it so much fun to cook and learn new techniques. I was worried I would forget how to make the four dishes but she sent the recipes to me. She even took pictures for us. Thank you Ann!

Highly recommend - This class was awesome. I loved the fact that Ann allowed us to cook whatever we wanted. We also went to the market to buy the ingredients and in there we tried different fruits and sweets that the locals eat. I also liked that we cooked everything ourselves.. My husband and I cooked our own dishes.
In other cooking classes we both split the task within ourselves and sometimes within other people that are taking the class.
The mistake we made was that we ate before the class thinking we were not going to eat until the end of the class but we started eating in the market. Also, we cooked a lot of dishes and we got full pretty quick. Regardless, the good was great. Ann is very friendly and welcoming.
We loved the class and highly recommend her.
