Brilliant find! - Stumbled across this excursion online and debated whether to do it or not and we're so glad we did! We booked for 9.30am and were the only ones on the river for most of our trip! Captain D pointed out different wildlife and trees along the way, he was very personable and friendly. We were gently guided 2 miles down the river and it was so peaceful and tranquil along the way! We were met at the beach with a basket of fruits to enjoy as well as taking photos / going for a paddle if we wished! We were then towed back to the start by a small motor boat! All in all a brilliant trip and we'd definitely recommend it, especially if you're fortunate enough to have Captain D at the helm!

SO COOL!! - We were afraid the bamboo raft would be boat w some zip tied bamboo and it would be a sterilized Disney excursion. NO!! It was SO COOL!!! Real bamboo rafts. Our guide Dr Feel Good was EXCELLENT. Telling us all kinds of things about St Lucia history and wildlife. You raft down to a movie set like empty beach of the Caribbean. Magical 2-3 hours. In these days of jet skis and over crowded catamarans and tourist T shirt shops. This was laid back, organic, enchanting, honest little slice of St L. MUST DO

Amazing experience visiting the less visited part of St. Lucia - We booked this tour through TripAdvisor as a shore excursion at the port of St. Lucia. We were picked up by taxi (sent out by the company) right outside the pier. The rafting experience was wonderful. A.J., a delightful young man, was our captain. He took good care of us and was able to answer any question we had about this place. The river was quiet and picturesque. Eventually we reached the beach area and made a turn into the mangrove area, where the scenery was absolutely out of the world. Then we made a brief stop at the beach (the softest sand ever) before heading back. The raft was actually towed back by a small motor boat since it was upstream on the way back. I enjoyed another rum punch before being transported back to the cruise pier by taxi. Easy peasy but a very memorable experience. If I were fortunate enough to visit St. Lucia again, I would sign up this tour again in a heart beat.

You Gotta Try It!! - This experience was amazing. Very calming! Rick taught us about the river and natural plants that grow along side it. Have you ever heard or seen a Water Chicken?! Not before taking this tour!! Our four legged friend, Max, found us on the river! 😲 We even spent time on the beach with a local drink! I definitely recommend this tour!

It was ok - I was really excited for this excursion. However it wasn’t exactly what I had hoped for especially for the price. The ones in Jamaica are way better.
