Roseau Romantic River Rafting River Rafting Experience, near Castries - A fabulous time, slowly along the lush river, butterflies, lovely sounds of birds, a unique experience. We booked from Sandals Grande and they didn't disappoint, we were delighted to be served lunch on the riverside, just my husband and I and a superb chef, in immaculate whites. Captain Jo 101, the One and Only One (as he often reminded us) was an excellent host and barge handler, telling fantastic stories which made us laugh as he served us lager and champagne on the trip and at the beach stop.

Worth doing! - A real memorable experience. All of the staff were lovely! Welcomed with a drink and a use of the restroom then onto the rafting. Our guide was really knowledgeable and made sure to take his time so we could make the most of the experience. A really great afternoon out.

Wonderful Experience - What a unique wonderful experience. Ride was comfortable, informative and relaxing. We have been on many excursions and this is just after Hawaii Helicopter ride in its uniqueness.

A lovely experience, well worth it. - Such a lovely relaxing experience. Our guide Captain J was so friendly, funny and knowledgeable. Drifting amongst the mangroves was stunning and special. Take some cash with you as there are some lovely local souvenirs available when you stop at the beach.

A Wonderful Unforgettable Experience - The whole trip was fabulous from start to finish. The tour guides were polite, well educated on the area and so very helpful in every aspect of the journey down the river. Would highly recommend as it was an adventure of a lifetime. Will do it again if the opportunity permits. Loved loved loved it.

A liesurely float you won’t regret! - My family of 5 did the bamboo river rafting on Christmas day. This is an experience unlike any other on the island, and one of the many highlights of our trip. A driver transported to and from our resort in Soufriere to Anse La Raye where two guides paddled rafts on a leisurely float down the river. The pictures don’t do it justice. We walked the small beach for about 10 minutes and enjoyed some fresh fruit offered by one of the workers. We did not get to try fresh coconut as some others suggested, but this might depend on your guide or whomever is on staff that day. Oh, and the manager (Francis) is a super nice guy. I can highly recommend this activity!

Relaxing tour - We’ve been to St Lucia before but this was a unique experience! My wife and I took a Norwegian cruise over Christmas and chose this excursion when we hit St Lucia. This is a very laid back trip where you sit on a bamboo raft and your guide uses a pole to push you down the river. Our guide was great and he also had a cooler with water and beer to make it even more relaxing. After a while you come to a beach where you can spend 20 minutes or so - they sell trinkets and have a small bar on the beach as well. The way back is quicker as a power boat pulls the rafts back up the river. Our only disappointment was the lack of wildlife. You could see some chickens and some egrets but that was really it, parrots and other wildlife are located more towards the rainforest.
