This thrilling excursion requires swimwear, a towel, and closed-toe shoes, while the guides will handle everything else. After gearing up at Extreme Dominica’s headquarters, participants will learn to rappel on an 8-foot training wall and receive a briefing before embarking on a 15-minute drive to the canyon where the true adventure begins. After navigating the enchanting canyon, the tour concludes with a 15-minute hike back to the vehicle. The experience wraps up at the canyoning school with hot cocoa tea and fresh local fruit.

Be brave! - Berani & Lindy were the best guides we could hope for, so knowledgable, professional and full of banter. It was a fantastic day out and I have not stopped thinking about it since. You need to be of a certain fitness level or you may struggle. Overall it was a brilliant day and I can’t wait to bring more family and friends.

Thrill of a lifetime! What and Adventure - An adventure I will never forget and will come back to do again! Akeel & Joshua were amazing guides with our inexperienced group of 6. Very patient, kind, & skilled. Our fitness levels varied as did our age (56 - 67) from moderate activity level to long distance hikers (Boiling Lake kind of hikers). This challenges a person in so many ways and Akeel and Joshua were there to guide us and support us every inch of the way. Repelling was so fun. After the first repel I couldn’t wait for the next one. Akeel and Joshua can and will take over for you at anytime so you are completely in their control in a split second if need be. I felt 100% safe. The biggest fear was within myself. No need to freak out at all. The jumps were thrilling, navigating the canyon with the amazing surroundings and the beautiful hike up and out of the canyon. I would suggest if you are on the lower end of physical fitness to at least hike Victoria Falls or Middleham Falls earlier in the week and if you can manage that this should be ok for you IMHO. I would do this on a day you do not have tired muscles or brain fog (not hung over). You will want your wits about you and to soak in every second of this amazing adventure. We will come back. I can’t wait to see our pic’s off the GoPro when I get home. I just couldn’t wait that long to share how fabulous our experience was with Extreme Dominica. This was a perfect adventure and great way to end a week of hiking, chasing waterfalls, snorkelling and exploring all this amazing Island and the people of Dominica shared with us.

Fantastic!! - Our guides were absolutely amazing!! I was afraid to jump, several times and Junior was so incredibly patient with me.

Canyoneering Adventure - We had such an incredible trip with Junior and Jahloo. They were safety conscious, and had such great personalities. We laughed the entire time. The area is gorgeous.
My Husband is a climber, and he was completely comfortable with the safety of this company and the guides. I would highly recommend this trip, and spend the money for the GoPro, wish I would have.

Unbelievable experience, scenery, personal accomplishments all packed into this Canyoning Experience! - Rest assured, I didn’t book through our cruise line and definitely worth it. This excursion gives you the mom and pop business feel in every aspect, clean business, impeccable customer service from start to finish. Begin your excursion with a short ride in a vehicle to their home base halfway up the mountain. Get fitted with your safety equipment, a quick lesson on repelling, and back in a vehicle for another short ride to the mountain top. Now the fun and excitement begins, beautiful scenery throughout this excursion. Repelling off of cliffs, some waterfall jumps, hiking, and personal accomplishments are included in this tour. A 7m/23’ waterfall jump towards the end, tests you! You can also repel down that one if you choose, so don’t worry. Our 3 guides, Junior, Joshua, Alikai (probably butchered that last one) regardless the three were amazing, very experienced themselves, very helpful, and attentive to our group. Wife and I have 3 kids 7-19, another couple had a young (around 6) shy daughter. The guides kept everyone’s safety a top priority, accidents can still happen. Our son ( 7 years old ) 1/3 of the way through said this was so awesome and he was going to bring his kids here. We all thoroughly enjoyed this excursion and would highly recommend, don’t be scared not booking through your cruise lines if they don’t offer this vendor. This vendor will give you the same guarantee back to ship on time without the cruise line getting a cut. You will not regret it!!!!

An absolute must not miss experience - This is a top notch operation. The guides are amazing: safety plus a dynamism that dispels fear, without pushing anyone into something they aren't ready to do, handling all skill/fear/willingness with respect and kindness without shining a spotlight on them. They guide team works as a well oiled machine, and makes it unbelievably fun. Not to mention going above and beyond for their adventurers (including, on our trip, print on a snorkel mask and diving to recover a clients lost go-pro: amazing!)All that, plus the stunning beauty of the Gorge and the crystal clear waters of the river. This is a must do experience, and with Extreme Dominica.

Family Christmas Cruise - Dominica excursion - We participated in the canyoneering excursion during a family Caribbean cruise over Christmas vacation. Our experience with Extreme Dominica was not only enjoyable and memorable, we all agreed that is was truly the highlight of our trip. Our tour guides did a very thorough job of fitting us with our gear, and then allowed each of us an opportunity to demonstrate our technique following the orientation. This allowed us to feel comfortable with the equipment while they provided any necessary feedback. Once this was done, we had a short drive to the top of a nearby mountain where we started our adventure. We enjoyed several repels, and a few jumps in to the river along the route. The canyons were awesome and the backdrop of the tropical rainforest was breathtaking. We aren't giving too many details so we don't ruin the surprise for any reader.
Our guides on the tour were Jahlel, Akeel, Joshua ("Smurf"), Junior (Jason.) They made us felt safe and were engaged at all times even though we were a large group. They made it a point to learn and remember all of our names making for a more personal touch. At the end of our tour, we were treated at the reception hut to freshly cut watermelon and hot cocoa, both of which hit the spot.
We did a canyoneering excursion a few years ago in Costa Rica, but this was much better. We can't say it enough, the guides were were awesome! The excursion one-of-kind.
Highly recommend, and would definitely do again! Too bad we can't give 6 stars.

Breathtakingly beautiful adventure experience - An unforgettable experience, navigating down the many waterfalls of this green canopied canyon carved from volcanic ash was the highlight of our trip to Dominica. Our guides, Junior and Akheel, kept us safe at all times on this experience that is very much for the active traveler! Kids (ages 11-15) all had a blast and learned how to rappel. Our only wish is that we had done it earlier in our trip so we could have gone again before we left Dominica !

Amazing guides - Exceptional guides led our family, ranging in ages from 8 years old to 49 years old, through our first experience of rappelling, jumping in waterfalls, and navigating a river in the canyon. The natural beauty of the canyon was breathtaking. This experience is a highlight of our vacation!
