BUCKET LIST BEACH 🏝️ 🌊☀️ - My favourite experience so far! I have been to some of the best tropical beaches in the world. Long Island beach is one of the best I have been to. It’s a bit of a hike but I mean it when I say the hike is WORTH every bad thought you have on your way there 😂😂😂

Amazing island, soft sandy beaches, lovely views, great service - The island was very nice, soft sandy beaches, amazing views from the bar and bistro and the beaches looking onto the water. The provided lunch offer came with great food and friendly service from the staff. Would definitely recommend a stay, perhaps longer than a day or two to experience the island’s offerings fully.

Great Keppel Island is a must see destination - I liked the easy, friendly ticketing process and I was given some very good advice from the operator in the ticket office on site at the Marina We left on time and disembarked on the sand on the island, a great introduction to the naturalness of the great day trip I was about to experience:)

Perfect Day Whale Watching 🐋 - Today we went on a whale watching cruise with Keppel Konnections. We saw a pod of whales with a baby, several dolphins, a dugong and a sea snake. It was truly a wonderful day thanks to Keppel Konnections ❤️🐋

Empty tropical island beaches, great bushwalks made for a top day out. - This is a great value activity out of Yeppoon. Quick boat trip across to Great Keppel. Lots of magnificent empty beaches and great walks to explore. The included lunch at Hideaways was good as well.

I got Wrecked on Great Keppel Island again.🍻👌 - I went over to see what the old resort had been to reduced to as I holidayed there in 1984 as a 19 year old, it's a shame it was left in such a state. On a lighter note we went for a walk over to Long Beach and the through the bush to Monkey beach which was a great experience and then onto the Hideout for a great lunch, staff were very friendly but the seagulls aren't. We also checked out the accommodation and are thinking of spending a week over here sometime in the future, we totally enjoyed the day. Also a big shout out to the boat crew who made our trip over there and back an all round great day. ( Only bad point are the bloody seagulls 😂.)

Relaxing hours at a deserted beach - Close car park, friendly staff, nice walk over Putney to Leekes Beach, few people in wintertime, nice taccos und burgers, worth walking up to the lookout.

Confusing information - There appeared to be a breakdown between Keppel Konnections and TripAdvisor as upon arrival at the jetty we were told they had no record of us returning from Great Keppel Island (the ferry was full) and that we needed to cancel our booking and go with a different company. Very bad management as the original vessel was not running so had to be transferred to a different vessel under a different company. No information as what to do on the Island was provided and due to the issues our stay on the Island was shortened so we could get back to Rosslyn. A stressful time which dampened our holiday.
