• 451 Ngongotaha Road - This is a guided horseback trek. Prior to leaving the paddock arena, instructions are provided. Riders will be given a riding helmet and a horse that suits their skill level. Participants must be at least 12 years old, and there is a maximum rider weight limit of 100 kg.

The trek begins on the lower farm, where riders follow the guide and make their way up to a lookout with views of Lake Rotorua, as seen in our photos. The entire experience takes place on the lower slopes of Mount Ngongotaha. Although the terrain can be uneven, no prior experience is necessary. Helmets are supplied for safety.
