• 451 Ngongotaha Road - This is a guided horseback trek. Participants receive instructions before leaving the paddock arena. A riding helmet and a horse suited to the rider’s skill level will be provided.
  Riders must be at least 12 years old, with a maximum weight limit of 100 kg.

The trek begins on the lower farm, where riders follow the guide and ascend to a lookout with views of Lake Rotorua, as seen in our photos. The entire journey takes place on the lower slopes of Mount Ngongotaha. Although the terrain can be uneven, no prior experience is necessary. Helmets are supplied for safety.
