Hobbiton - The whole site and how detailed it was was way more than I expected…phenomenal!! The guides also had many tidbits to share about the set and the filming. Navigating the set was a bit challenging for someone with a cane and mobility issues, but I managed. Where it was steep and there were steps a railing would have been helpful.

So much fun - This was such a fun trip! There was much more to see in Hobbiton than I expected, and our driver, Hannah, kept us entertained along the way there. Lunch was delicious as well. It sounds like Hobbiton has seen a lot of improvements over the past few years, so there's lots more to see now than in the past (so don't necessarily believe anyone who says it's not worth going if they visited awhile back). I recommend checking it out.

Amazing 🤩 - Ngata our tour bus driver was awesome. He loves his dad jokes ☺️ The whole Hobbiton experience was fantastic. The buffet lunch was exceptional we walked away with full bellies after the massive feed we needed a nanny nap. I’ll definitely be doing it again with the rest of the family.

Not to be missed - would even go thru again - Expected a Disney-style experience and got so much more! This felt like I was in a real life The Shire. Not too crowded, was able to see everything and not feel like I was one of thousands. Loved being able to go inside the hobbit home. Such an amazing attention to detail. Even could pick up and examine items.

Beautiful craftsmanship with great guides - Our driver was really informative and funny on the rides to and from. The tour of Hobbiton was incredible. The site is so well done and the details are mind blowing. Definitely a worthwhile trip even if you're not into the movies/book. Amazing afternoon, taken care of by incredible guides.

Amazing Experience with Some Feedback - I really enjoyed the day at Hobbiton and enjoyed the tour guide providing us with various interesting facts about New Zealand on our drive over. The only piece of feedback I would provide is that there should be a better notification system to let people know if the driver will be late or if there will be delays with regards to the pick-up. I booked this tour a couple months before and I didn't receive any emails, from the company, the day of, confirming that the trip would still be happening. The driver was late at no fault of his own, due to traffic, but because I didn't receive any emails from the company, I had no idea if the tour was still running as scheduled and had to call them several times to get confirmation. Other than this issue, I enjoyed the tour and would recommend it to others!
