Fairytale - Your inner child becomes alive. You are transported to a magical spot. The tour was terrific especially the experience in the hobbit house. Lunch was wonderful.

Such an amazing experience!!! - Whether or not you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, this tour is an amazing and even magical experience! After an hour bus ride from Rotorua to Hobbiton, we had time to grab breakfast at the cafe and do a little souvenir shopping before commencing the tour. It was amazing to experience walking through the Shire, learn where various scenes were filmed, and get some history on the farm that houses the Hobbiton set. The hard cider at The Green Dragon was refreshing and lunch after that was varied and delicious! All around a great day! Kudos to our driver, Hannah, and our tour guide, Ellie!

Good your to Hobbiton - Being an LOTR fan, we enjoyed a lot. Transport, drink and lunch were very comfortable. They had decent options for vegetarian as well.

Brilliant - Seeing hobbiton was a experience of a lifetime so beautiful with lovely green land and hobbit homes feels like you are really in the movie

A very Hosbbitable Visit! - Although I’ve never seen the movie, I loved my Hobbiton experience! The movie set was so full of detail that it brought the characters to life even though they weren’t home when we visited! I can’t wait to watch the movie now! (But I wish I had watched it before!)

Perfect way to get to... - Perfect way to get to Hobbiton from Rotorura without a car! Really easy to meet up with bus in central part of city, and there’s some nice scenery along the way.

A great organised excursion ! - The experience was amazing !
From the moment we set off from Rotorua to Hobbiton, the driver made us feel at ease. We laughed a lot and he explained a lot about the town and the surrounding area.
When we got there, we were immediately immersed in the atmosphere with the cafeteria and the shop.
The guided tour of the place was really interesting, and we learnt a lot about the films and the shooting. There's plenty of time to enjoy the scenery, take lots of photos and observe the set in detail.
The meal was very good and varied, giving us lots of time to eat and chat before heading back on the bus.
Whether or not you're a fan of The Lord of the Rings and The Hobbit, this is a must-see. The scenery and landscapes are stunning !

Exceeded our expectations! - Excellent and beautiful tour of The Shire set, lovely guides and driver, and a delicious lunch buffet is included in the tour, as well as a nice drink.
