Upon arrival, embark on a guided tour of the Hobbiton Movie Set, discovering how this beautiful farmland was transformed into a vibrant piece of Middle Earth. Best trip ever - From being picked up by our bus driver Nutter, to the bus trip to hobbiton. We had the best time Nutter and found him to be respectful and very funny. We felt special and that nothing was too much trouble. We were taken to hobbiton were we meet the most amazing guide who showed and amazed just with the most brilliant experience. To say we enjoyed it doesn’t do it justice. Would highly recommend this experience to anyone and everyone. Thank you.

Rotorua to Hobbiton trip - Great and very easy trip from Rotorua to Hobbiton. Hannah made it a great experience for me as a solo traveller with getting there and back and I felt very well looked after. Hobbiton itself is amazing, so much attention to details and great food and drink at the end.

One trip was not enough - I visited Hobbiton last July, and while the little rooms weren’t ready yet, I returned this August, and the experience was twice as amazing. The attention to detail is incredible—I discover something new every time. Even if you haven’t seen all the movies, the world these artists created is truly remarkable and definitely worth a visit.

Magical day with a great lunch! - Do the experience with the Lunch! Our driver Nata (so) was fun and kind and the whole thing was just magical. The one down, I feel the need to rewatch all the movies, which probably will be more interesting and immersive after being to Hobbiton.

Lord of the Rings Disney Style - Our tour bus brought us through the countryside and talked about how the movie set was chosen. We enjoyed the cafe shortly before joining the Hobbitton tour. Our tour guide was knowledgeable and fun. The apple cider at the end was a nice surprise. The baguet staff were accommodating and made sure that no food I am allergic to was given to me. But, we were the last table served and my table did not get enough time to eat our lunches before the tour bus driver came looking for us.

Fairytale - Your inner child becomes alive. You are transported to a magical spot. The tour was terrific especially the experience in the hobbit house. Lunch was wonderful.

Such an amazing experience!!! - Whether or not you are a fan of the Lord of the Rings and Hobbit movies, this tour is an amazing and even magical experience! After an hour bus ride from Rotorua to Hobbiton, we had time to grab breakfast at the cafe and do a little souvenir shopping before commencing the tour. It was amazing to experience walking through the Shire, learn where various scenes were filmed, and get some history on the farm that houses the Hobbiton set. The hard cider at The Green Dragon was refreshing and lunch after that was varied and delicious! All around a great day! Kudos to our driver, Hannah, and our tour guide, Ellie!
