Rafting on the Kaituna River – An Unforgettable Adventure! - Rafting on the Kaituna River was an absolutely incredible experience!
Our guide, Lenny, made the whole experience super easy and fun. He explained everything clearly, making sure we felt safe and confident before hitting the water. Meanwhile, Justin provided fascinating insights into the local flora and fauna, enriching the trip with his knowledge of the surrounding nature.
The combination of adrenaline-pumping action and learning about the unique environment made this trip truly special. If you're looking for an unforgettable rafting experience in New Zealand, I can’t recommend it enough!

Raving for River Rats - We had a great day with River Rats! The employees were incredibly friendly and helpful. We felt safe and prepared and had a complete blast. Would absolutely recommend. Lenny, the guy from Utah, Neev, another blonde girl, an older guy, and a younger guy with long hair were amazing. Sorry I didnt catch all their names from all the fun we were having :)

Awesome - We chose River Rats at the last moment and are very glad that we did. The river itself is obsoletely awesome but River Rats crew made it it even better 1) They know the river inside out and was able to tailor the trip to us making exciting but always safe. 2) Both guides love what they do and it shows 3) it is somewhat smaller operation and we did not end up in the convoy of 4 board we saw other company do on the same day. Instead of cookie cutter trip we were going down the river with guides who were having fun swapping the stories about other trips they did, introducing us to rafting gossip and screaming on the top of their lungs as we were going down 7 meter waterfall.

Great family activity on the river - We had an excellent time with River Rats. Pete and Cam were the leaders in our raft and motivated our raft to a much louder chant than Lennie’s. Clearly the lads knew all the rapids inside and out, having done them loads of times before. We practiced the techniques. The guys took safety seriously and had plenty of gear. I was nervously excited going in to the big 7m falls. All went well and it was awesome! It didn’t feel rushed but we got a lot done in a few hours. Our teenagers got a real buzz out of it. Jen took awesome photos to help us remember the event. Thanks team!!
