Māori cultural and historical experience with fabulous meal - This activity was all encompassing, interesting, exciting, informative view into Māori history and culture. We had such a good time and met other travellers from all over the world. The meal afterwards was like nothing we’d ever tasted. Delicious. Cannot recommend this enough. A local we spoke to advised this was the best one to do and he was not a Maori himself! 😄

Great evening, but some facts quoted by the host were dubious at times. - The evening was very enjoyable. The facilities and format were excellent. The host came up with some facts that were untrue/poorly researched, i.e. the Maori came to NZ 6000 years ago in 80 foot canoes!!!!

One whole portion of the... - One whole portion of the evening is not accessible yet the price is the same for the disabled person and their carer. The food was only ‘okay’ The glow worm experience was seeing a few pricks of light in a bush on the side of a track you had walked earlier only this time in pitch black. The advertising leads you to believe and expect much more. No disrespect to the people performing though, they are passionate and proud of their culture and very protective of the land on which this experience is held.

Great Māori experience but lots of people! - A great experience, however quite a lot of people and a little bit touristy. However, worth while - really enjoyed seeing the war canoe and Haja dancing was excellent. Great buffet with good quality main courses and dessert and the hang as delicious.

Tourist trap, don’t waste your time - Oh well, what a tourist trap. Must have been 200 people squeezed into a small events room, the show they did was so fake and staged. Food is served only after 90min so you better eat before you go for dinner.,food was not authentic either and they tell you when you can go to the buffet as they just have too many people so can only to table by table and if you are the last table, good luck. Felt sorry for my daughter to see this. We left early and went for dinner. Shocking
