Riding an 80-year-old WW2 landing craft by Rotorua Duck Tours - We rode an 80-year-old WW2 landing craft🚤 around Rotorua Lake District in New Zealand. We drove around the Government Gardens🪻🌷🌻, Rotorua Lake's Sulfur Bay, Rotorua city🕍 and native forest🌳🥀🪵. Then we splashed down💦🌊 the Lakes of Tikitapu and Okareka. Do the Duck Boar Tour - Such a great experience and my 7 and 11 year old loved it so much. We learnt more about Rotorua and had so much fun going from land to water. The tour guide was hilarious and we will definitely do it all over again soon!

Easy, fun tour with lots to see and learn. Plus we drove into 2 lakes!! - This was such a great thing to do! Ollie, our driver was funny but also had loads of interesting information to impart regarding the geology of the area and the history of the Iwi who discovered the area. It’s a talent to keep people interested like that and he was a master! Would definitely recommend.

Ollie was a great guide! - Great way to learn about the history and geothermal activity of Rotorua. Ollie our guide was friendly and a great story teller! He made the tour super enjoyable and entertaining. Comfortable to travel on the duck, we had some rain and were able to drop the plastic windows to stay dry. Would recommend.

An enjoyable activity in Rotorua - The female driver had a very dry sense of humour which added to the enjoyment of this tour.
We learnt about the use of these ducks during WW 2 as well as seeing some amazing scenery during our ride on the lakes. For a tour that takes 90-105 minutes I think that it was value for money.

Great - It was great, the tour guide was great just couldn’t hear him clearly over the speaker because the vehicle itself was too loud. But I also don’t think that it was worth spending $85 for, although it was a great thing for the kids who enjoyed it the most.
