Lokafyers are not professional tour guides and conduct tours sporadically, resulting in an authentic and personal experience, similar to a friend showing you their city. At the end of the tour, you will have gained enough confidence and information to maneuver through the city and make the most of your visit.

Lokafy tours provide a general overview of the city with practical information from a local’s perspective, not detailed historical facts
In case travellers would like to include a visit to an attraction, they would need to cover the cost of entrance for themselves and also the Lokafyer (local guide)
Tours are entirely personalized, please provide the start time, meeting place and information about you so that we can organize the tour

Excellent orientation to Rotterdam - Our guide was Lara, and she was excellent. She communicated with us about a week prior to our arrival so we could discuss what we wanted to see and what we needed to learn as we would be staying in Rotterdam for a week. She was right on time, meeting us at our hotel, and we began our tour from there. We spent about two hours walking through the various parts of town, including the houses and Market hall. she was very educational on what we might want to come back and see on our own as well as some suggestions for day trips. She gave us a good orientation of the public transport system, which we had requested so we could get around more easily. She also answered our many questions around daily life here, including grocery store etiquette as well as cultural norms and foods we should try. We really enjoyed our day and since we booked her on our first full day in Rotterdam, we feel much more prepared of what we will want to do each day while we are here She also followed up with an email with additional things we may want to do after our tours, so that was awesome!

Felt like a local…I will be back - Ivan my tour guide was absolutely amazing! I traveled solo so I was a bit apprehensive of this type of tour. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and very personable. In two hours, he showed me the highlights of Rotterdam. He answered questions and made me feel very comfortable in a new city. My next few days in Rotterdam were the best because of his recommendations and the places we went.

Very nice 4h-biketour through Rotterdam - I had a very nice 4h-biketour through Rotterdam. The tourguide Rénia was very friendly and pofessional and could give very detailed information about the whole city, history and culture. I can recommend her in any case and I would book the tour again.

Fantastic experience - must try - Fantastic experience. Ivan was exceptional. It was more like a friend taking you around the city and giving insights. It’s a must try. You get to know much more than the planned tours. You are free to decide on the plan and visit.

Best way to get to know the city - Great way to know and experience the city based on your own personal interests and at your pace and time. Wonderful walking tour of Rotterdam - Josh was our guide in May for a private 3-hour walking tour of Rotterdam. The tour was to see Rotterdam like a local and we sure did. Josh was fabulous, lots of fun, very warm and engaging, and he showed us everything! He was in no hurry to end after 3 hours, and I think we saw the entire city—which quickly became one of our favorites. We highly recommend “Rotterdam Like A Local,” and hopefully you get Josh.
