Experience the magic of Rottnest Island by luxury sailing catamaran! Sail the island’s stunning coastline and dive
into an underwater paradise, full snorkel gear included.
Departing Thomson Bay, enjoy a leisurely sail to a secluded bay, cool down and hold on to our huge cargo net as we drag you through the water on route. Anchored at the island’s top snorkel spots, find over 120 different species of tropical fish, you won’t see along the metropolitan coastline. Look out for dolphins and the rare Australian sea lions! Kayaks and SUP boards also available for your use.
Enjoy a seasonal fruit platter as we sail you back to the jetty in time for the afternoon ferries.
Tour is suitable for ages 4 and up. Snorkellers must be aged 8 and over.
- Change of date permitted once without penalty, provided 7 days notice is given.
- Late arrival or failure to board for any reason = 100% ticket loss. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to begin boarding.
- Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation.

Incredible snorkel adventure - It was a fantastic experience! Swimming with sea lions was incredible! The short sailing trip allowed us to visit the island too, and the crew was super friendly.

Amazing day on the water - Fantastic day out with a great crew. We were taken to the most beautiful location to snorkel. Weather allowed for sailing with the kids even able to help bring in the sail. So much fun !!

Rottnest at its best! - Fantastic. A must do experience. Equipment was great. Snorkelling was amazing and Jules/Anuska were very welcoming. The sailing at the end was perfect way to finish.

Go on, spoil yourself! - Cracking afternoon out on the water with the super friendly crew of Charter 1. Kids were invited to join in on raising/lowering the sails, as well as joining Captain Jules as he steered us home. Guided snorkelling was aaahmazing and a highlight of our family holiday. 8yo was easily able to keep up on the guided tour and loved the experience (frothing to go again). Plenty of marine life to view - an abundance of fish, sea lions, cheeky stingray, coral galore. Cargo net on the way back to the jetty capped off a perfect day. Would highly recommend to anyone!

Higjly Recommend Rottnest Sail & Snorkel - I appreciated the clear communication right from the booking. We had to
be put on another day to originally booked and Jules was very accommodating. Lovely snorkel catering for all levels and made everyone feel included and safe. Highly recommend!! thanks crew and Jules we loved it!!

Get in the water! - Could not resist getting in the water from the boat! A small cruise to a handy snorkel location. Friendly staff. Good fins and mask supplied. 30 minutes roaming the ocean. Fruit and cuppa back on board. Then get on the drag net for the trip back.

Snorkel equipment insufficient - I was really excited for this tour but found it a little disappointing.
The equipment advertised wasn't pulled out, until a couple of people asked after the kayak only for it to be packed up when everyone got back from the snorkel.
The snorkel gear was simply not adequate for this type of tour operator. Not enough flippers in common sizes and many of the snorkels were broken.
Overall, if you just want a nice sailing trip I would recommend this tour. However, if you are keen on snorkelling, you will have a smoother experience hiring snorkel gear for $20 from the ferrry / pedal and flipper and going yourself from the bays.
