100% recommend this tour! - I would 100% recommend going on this tour if you want to see the northern lights while staying in Rovaniemi! Shihab was an amazing tour guide and was very knowledgeable about when and how to spot the lights. We appreciated his honesty about the fleeting possibility of seeing the lights based on the forecast on the night that we wanted to go. However, with his willingness to drive as far as we needed to go to find the best view of the lights, and with a bit of luck, we managed to see them! The added bonus was that Shihab is also a professional photographer and brought props to help us get the most magical photos! Thank you Shihab!

Great experience huntig northern lights. - Great experience! Shihab was very commited to show us the northern lights, drove us even to Sweden while staying in contact wirh other guides. When we found the northern lights he took the time to make great pictures of the lights and us, even driving to another spot. Would fully recommend!

Northern Lights Hunting - Shihab was a really nice guide and even though it was a cloudy night he took us to Sweden so we could see some northern lights - he also had a lot of knowledge. It was also -20° that night so he made sure to heat up the car while we waited for a wave of lights to come. Even though the northern lights weren't that strong that night the photos he took turned out great and it was a memorable night!

Great trip to the Northern Lights with Shihab - Shihab took us to see the Northern Lights, which wasn't easy this week. We were on the road for 9 hours and it was worth it. We were able to see the Northern Lights about 250 km from Rovaniemi. He explained a lot to us about how the phenomenon occurs and sent us some great photos a day later. Absolutely incredible - Shihab was amazing and genuinely just seemed like a really lovely person. He really went above and beyond in explaining everything and in the planning- even taking us TO SWEDEN to get us the best experience. Couldn't recommend more.

Trust the process! - It was so cloudy in Rovaniemi that we were afraid we wouldn’t see the Northern Lights, but after a 3h drive and 1h waiting, we got the see the beautiful lights! Luckily Shihab knows what he is doing and he is very patient. Yes, he cancelled our initial booking, but that was because it was cloudy and he rescheduled it to an (obviously) better night: so trust Shihab when he cancels the trip. He’s not doing that for its pleasure, but because he doesn’t want you to pay and hope for something you will not see. Other tours wouldn’t cancel and you will need to pay even without seeing the lights.

Amazing experience - Even though it was cloudy in Rovaniemi, Shihab did his research, was in contact with other guides, to find us a good spot. We drove for over 3 hours, but it was all worth it! Would recommend Shihab to others in Rovaniemi who is looking for a Northern Lights hunt/chase.

Great experience! - We were with a group of 9 people and wanted to do an unlimited mileage northern light chase. It was very difficult to find a tour operator which could fit us all in one group, because most had a maximum capacity of 8 persons. However, when I texted Shihab, with my special request, he needed a day to come back to my request and a day later he had arranged an additional car to fit the extra people in, without the group being too big. So the experience was still very private. Shihab trusted me with paying after the tour, in case the tour would not take place, due to bad weather conditions or lack of activity. Shihab is a professional photographer and takes the time to make beautiful pictures. He is very knowledgeable regarding chasing the northern lights and was constantly busy with getting intel on how to increase the chances to witness the aurora. He also explained the science behind the northern lights. Shihab provided us with a timely warning regarding the expected cold weather, so we could prepare properly. I would definitely recommend Shihab to everyone who stays in Rovaniemi and wants to have the biggest chance to witness the northern lights. We drove about 3 hours to Sweden and it was more than worth it!

Master Shihab - Was very difficult night to see any lights. But master Shihab did his research and found place a bit over 2 hours of driving from Rovaniemi. We drove there and boom.... Beautiful nortern lights. This guy knows what he is doing!🤝

Aurora tour - I did the tour Sunday March 30. It was cloudy in Rovamieni, we went to Sweden and there we were able to find clear skies. The effort was rewarded, we were able to see the auroras, very happy. Shihab has been a great guide and photographer. Thank you so much!!
