After the tour, we’ll enjoy a buffet lunch, taking in the beautiful surroundings as we reflect on our experience at the zoo.
• Santa Claus Village - Our adventure will start with a guided tour through the Santa Claus Village, where you’ll be immersed in the magic of the holiday season. During the tour, you’ll have the memorable experience of meeting Santa Claus himself, a highlight that will bring joy to all. We’ll also visit Santa’s official Post Office, where you can see where letters from children around the world are received and sent. Finally, you’ll have the unique opportunity to cross the Arctic Circle, marking a special moment of your journey in this winter wonderland.
• Tiainen - Our charming “Christmas cabin” is nestled in the picturesque village of Tiainen, just a short distance from the heart of Rovaniemi. This cozy retreat offers the perfect setting for a truly authentic Finnish experience. During your stay, you’ll have the chance to unwind in a traditional Finnish sauna, a time-honored ritual that will leave you feeling relaxed and rejuvenated. Afterward, gather around the open fire for a delightful dinner, featuring a hearty serving of salmon soup, prepared with fresh local ingredients. The warmth of the fire, combined with the rich flavors of the meal, will create an unforgettable evening in this serene and magical setting.

Start your day with a pickup by your guide at your designated location. We’ll begin with a scenic drive to Ranua, where you’ll spend two hours exploring the renowned Ranua Zoo, home to an array of Arctic wildlife.

After lunch at the zoo, we’ll head back to Rovaniemi for a guided tour of the magical Santa Claus Village. Here, you’ll cross the Arctic Circle, receive the “Crossing the Arctic Circle” certificate, and meet Santa Claus himself.

In the late afternoon, we’ll drive further north to a local village and arrive at a cozy Christmas Cabin, where you’ll prepare and heat a traditional Finnish sauna, over 100 years old. Enjoy an hour of relaxation in this authentic sauna experience.

To complete your day, savor a delicious salmon soup Lappish dinner at a traditional Finnish hut, known as a “Kota.”. During our drive back to Rovaniemi,, we have a chance to see the Northern Lights, but please note that this is a natural phenomenon and cannot be guaranteed.
