The Arctic is home to more than 200 types of untamed creatures and you’re welcome to encounter as many as you wish! Your journey includes a stopover at the renowned Ranua Zoo, one of Lapland’s top zoological gardens, along with visits to the deer and husky establishments.
Come and discover the reindeer and husky farms, where you’ll be greeted by the local caretakers and their creatures. At the reindeer enclosure, have a go at feeding the charming animals while hearing fascinating anecdotes about the way of life and reindeers from the custodians. Meet the lively, furry huskies at the husky domain. From May to August, when the weather is favorable, partake in a thrilling summer sledge ride. Take a snapshot amidst the animals to capture a cherished memory from your journey.
Later, traverse the gorgeous summer trail, spotting various polar bears, arctic foxes, wolverines, forest reindeers, various species of owls, brown bears, and more. Enjoy a tasty Lappish buffet meal at the on-site eatery.
