Chasing the auroras with Arttu - This aurora hunting tour was exceptional! Our guide, Arttu, kept us well-informed about weather conditions in advance, offering a refund or rescheduling option if needed. Arttu went above and beyond—driving three hours to Sweden to find clear skies. Despite the freezing temperatures, he took stunning professional photos and videos, which we received the next day. The warm drinks and snacks were a nice touch, and his insights into the auroras and Finnish life made the experience even more enriching. Highly recommended for anyone chasing the Northern Lights!

Unsere Polarlichter-Tour mit Arttu war einfach fantastisch! Obwohl die Chancen zunächst schlecht standen, hat er keine Mühen gescheut, um uns diesen Traum zu erfüllen. Die Kommunikation war von Anfang an einwandfrei und absolut transparent – wir wussten jederzeit, was uns erwartet. Dank seines Engagements und seiner Expertise konnten wir schließlich die atemberaubenden Nordlichter bewundern. Ein unvergessliches Erlebnis! Vielen Dank, Arttu!

Magical experience - We went hunting on February 28, 2025.
A fantastic experience.
We kept driving until we caught the northern lights.
The ride was very enjoyable fun guys who really shared their passion with us.

Arttu the ‘hunter’ BEST - Yesterday(27.02) me and my husband joined on a Northern Lights tour. I was hesitant about which company to choose, as I wasn't sure who was reliable. I'm so glad I chose this company! Arttu is a true aurora hunter. He loves his job and gets excited like it's his first time seeing the lights. I highly recommend this tour. He did his best to show us the lights.
The tour length is variable, depending on the ever-changing nature of the lights. For example, we were initially told we might cross into Sweden. However, with a last-minute update, we ended up going all the way to Kiruna. And we had the chance to see them! Arttu dropped us off at home around 3:00 AM(pickup was nearly 18.00)

Highly recommend this tour - Arttu was our guide and he made sure that we see the aurora by driving almost 400km one side that day.
We saw beautiful aurora all over the sky and clicked tons of pics.

Best in Business - I lost all my hopes on seeing aurora due to very bad weather for the whole week. When every other company was either cancelling tours or giving zero hope of northern lights, polar lapland came to our rescue. Our guide, Arttu, was very positive about hunting aurora and he did !! Witnessed the best vibrant green and red aurora. So magical. Thank you for making my dream come true. I can't thank you enough Arttu. Thank God we found you at the last minute.

Objective achieved - They took us all the way to Sweden to see the auroras making sure to catch them. We were in two different places and he made us some super cool pictures

The Northern Light Saga - We were in Rovaniemi for three nights. For the first two nights, there was high aurora activity but clouds were aplenty and hence we could not see the elusive lights. We already had a planned activity for the last night(feb16th) but we decided to cancel the same and book the chase with polar lapland - soon to be the best decision of our trip. Although last moment, Tino was super helpful with the booking. Picked us from our hotel and began the chase. With his deep knowledge about the region and also a vast network, we saw the first glimpse of lights in the first 30 minutes of our expedition. The were there but weak hence we continued our journey. We saw them again, in their full glory. Tino took us to a nearby lake and we stayed there for a long time, capturing them with our eyes and our cameras. Tino also doubled up as our photographer and took amazing pictures. He was kind, patient and also suggested poses for the best pictures. We went to a location even further where it felt like the lights were chasing us all along.
A great chase with truly unlimited time and kms. A befitting anniversary gift for us.
