Unforgettable experience - The experience was just amazing! We saw Northern Lights for the first time in our life, and we’ll never forget it. Our guide Alex made the experience so smooth, and put so much effort to make the tour memorable. Despite seeing Northern Lights, we had amazing barbecue and listened to the stories told by guide. The big advantage of this experience were professional photos taken by our guide. Now we have unique pictures of this day. Huge thank you and encourage everyone to choose Lumin Safari!

A magical experience for life! - Getting to see the Northern Lights is a matter of sheer luck - True! But the experience with the tour operator? We browsed through numerous tour operators, customer feedback and of course prices. Taking a leap of faith, we booked ours with Lumin Safari. We were picked-up on time from the designated point and the journey through the wilds started in a comfortable 7-seater van. The car headlights penetrated the pitch dark roads while we kept on peeping through the windows hoping to see the Auroras. On arriving at point 1, Alex took us to a frozen pond which was also an avenue of clear skyline. After a brief wait, appeared the Auroras. Though faint, Alex took photos of each tourist with his professional camera, while his colleague set up a wonderful campfire. After enjoying the freshly grilled sausages, marsh mellows and Glögi, Alex decided to hit another spot and this was the best call ever. Here, strong and clear Northern lights left us mesmerized. They danced, changed shapes and shades leaving us with life-time experience. We had another photo session followed by a drop-off at the designated spot. Photos were shared the following day too. We were incredibly lucky to see the Auroras! But the experience with the tour operator complemented rounded it up. From catering to individual requests to delivering on promised items, the professionalism of the team is certainly praiseworthy. In the sea of providers with pocket pinching prices, Lumin Safari is definitely reliable operator. THANK YOU Lumin Safari for making the entire experience so magical.

Memorable - We have had a wonderful experience, our expeditor was very kind man, we were Lucky to catch northern lights, mostly Green lights, on top of that Dancing Aurora showed up. Pictures were so colorfull and bright. When cold hit our feets, guide made a fire, grilied sousages and prepared the tradicional hot drink which helped to warm up. Northern lights were quite impressive to witness and stories about them made our Journey memorable.

Great evening! - Great, fun night. There was a group of about 14 of us. Aleks and George took us out to a quiet lake in northern Rovaniemi. While we waited for the aurora, they told us both the science and local legends about the phenomena. They had a nice campfire with sausages and a warm, local drink. After about an hour, the aurora had not really shown yet, so we prepared to leave to go to a second location. While warming up in the van, we saw Aleks come running towards us! I thought someone had been injured, but it turned out the aurora had just exploded into view and he had come to get us! We ran back through the woods out to the lake and it had fully appeared. Aleks took tons of photos of each of us below the aurora; the pictures turned out wonderfully. There’s no guarantee you will see the aurora, but it was a very fun evening and it ended up working out for us. Highly recommended!

Recommended. Fun tour. - Ilya and Alex were fantastic guides. Group not too big, around 15. We were the first pick up and last drop off so was a bit long for us but somebody has to be in that position. Brought us to two locations where we saw the magnificent northern lights. Can get cold. Alex had great explanations and stories to share. Ilya has an excellent sense of humour. Both very safety focused which put us at ease

Nice experience! - Could be 5 stars if we saw an active northern lights ! But overall, very nice experience! Lumin our tour guide went all the way he took us different places to see an active northern lights but unsuccessful which is okay (Not his fault , this is nature). Sausages were good 😊.

Unfortunately we didnt... - Unfortunately we didnt get to see any Northern lights on the tour. That certainly is not the tour operators fault. They cant control the weather! However, the van that the tour was in was overly cold, and a bit old. The area where the BBQ was held was nice, ut we sat around for an hour and it was freezing. The sausages are fine but nothing to rave about. Overall an average experience.
