- Moomin Snowcastle Finland - In the beginning of our programme you’ll recieve a comprehensive introduction to horses, after which you can feel safe to go on a riding trek. On our treks we always set the page according the least experienced rider. At the end of the ride we’ll enjoy a warm drink and cookies at the campfire and you’ll hear story of Finnhorses.
For safety reasons and for wellbeing of our horses, riding excursions are for people over 7 years of age and who weight less than 120kg (265 pounds).
- Helmet cap and riding helmet provided.
- You will need warm clothes suitable for riding, as well as shoes and gloves. The use of a helmet is mandatory.
The Finnhorse is a friendly, good-natured and dependable partner. While on horseback, you can explore the pristine wilderness of Lapland.
During fall, you can take in the vibrant landscapes of the forests filled with autumn leaves, while in the winter, you can listen to the sound of the snow crunching under the hooves as snow-laden trees arch over the path. Come spring, you can see the bright sunshine sparkle on the snow and hear the melodic chirp of the first birds returning from their winter migration, while feeling the warmth of the sun. In the summer, our fluffy partners mostly spend their time relaxing in the fields.
