Accidentally booked a hike! - Maca was a great host! Honestly I did realize this was a hike LOL but it was a lot of fun! The waterfalls were nice but the snowy scenery was the icing on the cake. Just beautiful.

Beautiful and spectacular views - It is necessary to drive to Korouoma in the city area, about 2 hours drive, and in the middle stops a short break and coffee. The leader along the way will introduce the culture and local characteristics, ecological plants, etc. ~ hiking walk is not difficult to walk, but the snow and melting snow will be wet, smooth, good waterproof shoes and outer jacket, pants are important, have their snow shoes! Not sure about the waterproof effect of their shoes recommended directly use the snowboots provided by the tour guide, very good to go! After the departure, the guide will provide ice-nail shoes, you can not carry them yourself, and some tour groups can be supplemented. Along the way you will see many waterfalls of different sizes and sizes, 2/3 of the way, the guide will demonstrate the original fire so that we can experience our own baking sausages, bread, hot drinks, chocolate, as a simple lunch. I think it's a great experience - the scenery is great ❤️

Memorable day in the Korouoma National park - We had a great day trip to the beautifull Korouoma Canyon Frozen Waterfalls. Vince our guide was very passionate and knowledgeable. He chopped wood for us, showed us how to make a fire using bark and a flint. He then supplied some sausage which cooked on the fire, while having some hot chocolate. Thank you guys for a memorable day, which we will never forget.

Unique experience! - The experience was wonderful, not only for the tour itself, but for the interaction, dynamics and relationship we managed to create with our guide, Hugo. He showed us and led us along wonderful trails, always paying great attention to us and the whole group, both in the simplest and the most dangerous routes. There was time for some fun and play in the snow and ice (we were a loud and playful group, we admit). We saw unique landscapes, which neither the photos nor the videos translate everything we saw and felt on this tour. The moment of the fire and picnic was a moment of comfort (the hot coffee, bread, sausages and roasted marshmallows, rises through life in the middle of the “neve” we caught). We recommend 100% this company, the guide and the activity, it was worth it every minute. 👍🏻

White snowy hike - This tour is the complete package! First, our guide was very knowledgeable and gave us a lot of insight of the history of the forest and the waterfalls. He took pictures of us in all the best spots of the park and was always on the lookout of what we need it. As a bonus, during all our hike we had snow showers and that made the experience even more magical. Very fun tour and educational!

Confirm Meet Up Location - Our tour guide Emily was great but the experience started off on a terrible foot. Picked to select pick up later, which I did days in advance. They never got it and lost an hr of experience. Apparently it set as their office location, which would have been fine if listed and we had known. Then were told the experience would be shorted due to weather. Wish all these things would have been clearly listed and advertised. I understand the weather cannot be controlled but there was so much ice it was even difficult to do at all.

Nice place, but something to improove.. - Korouoma canyon Park is a very nice place where to spend half/full day hiking surrounded by nature, forest and waterfalls. It’s a public national park. It’s a little bit far from Rovaniemi, the transfer takes 1,5 hour x 100km more or less. The organization provides boots and winter overalls if you need. The thing my friends and I didn’t appreciate is the fact that the experience is quite expensive for what offers itself. I mean that included in the price we expected to have a lunch around the fire as written, but in reality we just received 1 sausage, 1 small bread and 1 biscuit. Water just once for all the duration of the excursion until 4p.m. We were with teenager sons very hungry, considering we were out since 8.30 in the morning, and after a 5 km tour. Luckly we took with us snacks to be able to have something more to eat. Ok simple meal and adventure spirit, but i think you can improve the experience with you to be a real added value. It’s true we are people used to do trekking and to ski, but this wants to be an advice. The day after, just taking a taxi, we had 10km tour in the arctic polar area by ourselves just having sandwiches with us for lunch and it was super.
