Our experienced guide will take you out of the light pollution from the city and choose the best location for highest possibility of sighting the northern lights based on current conditions. Expect to hear the stories and myths behind the Aurora Borealis phenomenon over a campfire with a light BBQ snack. Hot drinks will also be provided. Photos will be provided afterwards with no additional cost.

Nobody’s going to trust your claim of having seen the elusive Northern Lights, Ms. Aurora Borealis. Prove them wrong by joining our trip accompanied by our dedicated photographers. They will capture memorable snapshots of you and, if luck favors us, you with Ms. Aurora herself! Our competent guide will guide you away from the city’s light pollution and pick the most optimal spot for a potential Northern Light sighting based on the prevailing circumstances. Around a campfire, enjoy the lore and mythology behind the Aurora Borealis while indulging in a light BBQ snack. Hot beverages will also be offered. Post-trip, your photographs will be handed over at no extra charge.

The Northern Lights are a capricious spectacle of nature. However, our experts will maximize your chances of witnessing this spectacular phenomenon.

• Duration includes the transfer time. Pick up service is included if the distance from pick up point to Sunny Safari Office is within 8km.
• Meeting time of our safari is always before the starting time of the safari if you need pick-up services. You will receive your meeting time and meeting point upon confirmation or by e-mail. Failure to participate in the safari due to missed meeting time or meeting point will not be refunded.
• Operated in Rovaniemi each year from November 16 to April 12 next year (weather permitting). The minimum number of participants for each safari is 2 full paying adults’ price.
• Please let us know in advance when you book the safari if you have special dietary requirements. (Eg: vegetarian, gluten-free, etc.)
