Rovaniemi - After we have collected and dressed our guests with professional winter overalls and boots, your Aurora guide will drive you far away from Rovaniemi, straight out to the wilderness to start hunting for the Northern Lights.
If the forecasts and Aurora predictions are not promising around the Rovaniemi area, your guide may take you up to 400 kilometers away to get a better sky. This excursion is a 7-hour Aurora hunt, you will get the chance to visit several different locations in the middle of wilderness.
This adventure will also offer you the unique opportunity to drive long distances through Lapland and explore Arctic nature. You may embark with your guide on different routes that will always lead you to fantastic scenery. You may end up in the middle of nowhere, where you can enjoy the silence on a lake beach, an open hilltop, or a snow-covered forest.
Focusing on pure Northern Lights hunting, during the tour,we will provide you with hot drinks and light refreshments during short stops to keep your energy level sufficient. Your guide will be equipped with a professional camera and take as many pictures as possible of you and the Northern Lights to capture those unique moments.

What a good luck - Wonderfull experience, and we had a lot of luck: our first try and an immediat success.
Our guide Gabor find the right perfect spot on the first try and took a lot of incredible photo, always kind at every our request.
Tasty snack near the fire with local sausages and bread at the end.

Hunting for the Northern Lights ✨ - What a wonderful adventure to go hunting for the Northern Lights with Diana Abroad! I was pleasantly surprised by his enthusiasm and professionalism. I had the impression that she was just as excited to see the magic of these lights as much as we were. We drove far enough to get away from the lights of the towns or villages and oh what a joy to see this light show and end the evening around a pleasant wood fire grilling sausages. Diana is a true aurora borealis hunter but also a fantastic photographer! Our smiles and our joy remain immortalized in magnificent photos

Great tour with high chances of seeing the Northern Lights - We did this tour with Gábor and we had a great time. When Rovaniemi was very cloudy, he took us to a place with no clouds and we were able to see the Northern lights, even though the activity was quite low that night.
We had a great time and I warmly recommend this tour. It enhances your chances of seeing the northern lights a lot when the weather isn't stable.

Aurora hunting - Carlos was a great guide..Verry energetic and positive. He really did his best for us to have a good pic with a glimpse of the Aurora Borealis.Thanks again Carlos and wild about lapland.Highly reccommended

Wonderfull experience!! - We Booked the tour on 6Dec23. We were a challenging group, as we were 6 adults and 6 children and we want to really thanks Carlos and Alberto for magnific experience. Despite we did not manage to see the lights (captured however by the camera) we expend a really lovely time. We get 3 frozen lakes at beautifull lapish nigth and we have a suprisinly nice dinner in a traditional tippi bbq. We have bread, saussages, mashmelows and chocolate.
Guides were amazing, really kind and absolutely children friendly. We have small kids (4-5 years old) and Carlos and Alberto managed to made them be confortable and happy. Many thanks for the trip!!!!

100% recommendable - We did two excursions with them, the one with the motorcycles was incredible and the one with the northern lights, although we didn't get to see them, it was a great experience, thank you Carlos for the treatment! You are a crack!

After WAL-Tours we truely are wild about Lappland - We did three tours and loved each of them! On our first day we did the Northern Light Hunt and were so lucky to see them. The second day we went to Korouoma Waterfalls seeing the unbelievable nature and took an amazing hike. Our third tour led us to the Huskyfarm with a 10km Safari.
Furthermore we could choose to eat vegan sausages during our tours - what was great :)
Thank you so much for these unforgettable memories!
Of course the guides did their best for us having a great time :)

Experience of 10 - Incredible experience with Carlos as a guide!! Although the northern lights appeared late..., Carlos delayed his return so he could enjoy it!!
Also, WHAT A PHOTON, if you want a beautiful memory for life, do not hesitate to go with Carlos as a guide and as a photographer!!

Aurora - Blurry photo and route not optimized to see the aurora, no aurora borealis for us because we stay 20 minutes around Rovaniemi and the photos are unusable. At the meal, you have 1 pork sausage and a sort of mini Wrap-Naan, I recommend that you do not go on this activity if you have little time in Rovaniemi (example: 1 week) and you really want to see the aurora boreals.
