Unforgettable Cross-Country Ski Adventure on Pristine Family Land - We had an absolutely unforgettable experience with Arctic Fox Expeditions on their cross-country ski adventure! Kyle, the owner and guide, brought a personal touch to the journey, sharing his family property’s rich history and its stunning, untouched beauty. The trails were breathtaking, offering serene views and a true sense of wilderness. Kyle’s deep knowledge of the land, combined with his passion for the outdoors, made the experience both memorable and educational. Whether you’re a seasoned skier or a beginner, Kyle ensures everyone feels welcome and comfortable. We can’t recommend Arctic Fox Expeditions enough for an adventure that’s truly one of a kind!

Best cross country skiing experience in Rovaniemi woods - I will highly recommend booking a tour with Artic Fox Expeditions. Kyle is very attentive to detail and he makes sure that he attends to the needs and physique of the group. Kyle is friendly and communicative, Instead of just offering a cross country skiing session, he gets to know the group to understand our likes, then as the walk progresses, he gave us options to explore new trails. We are lost in time exploring the nature and beauty of the woods and lake. Kyle also constantly took photos for our group which is awesome. I would rate this experience 6 stars.

Awesome activity, a must do! - Awesome tour! One of our favourite days was spent doing this. We were lucky enough my boyfriend and I were the only 2 and he met our experience levels and took us all around the forest and the lake. Not just the tour but so many surprises on the way from snacks, warm drinks, lunch by the fire and so many stories. Awesome service and would definitely do it again.

Truly local experience - Don’t click on similar experiences. This one is truly unique and amazing. A sustainable and truly local company. Our family loved the trails through the forest and across the lake, sitting by the fire with delicious blueberry juice and local sausages. Highly recommend booking with them.

Best experience ever - I had an incredible experience on this hiking ski tour! The forest was magical, and discovering a peaceful lake out of nowhere was unforgettable. Our guide was amazing—kind, attentive, and thoughtful. He treated us to delicious homemade blueberry juice and took stunning pictures of us along the way. We even met his adorable son, which added a special touch to the day. Highly recommend this tour for anyone seeking a memorable adventure!

Must-do in Rovaniemi - We were right to book this tour. It is a private one that gives you the authentic and genuine experience of Finland, not like a commercial one. We had a fantastic time hiking and skiing with Kyle, who took great care of us throughout the trip. He brought us to a stunning wild forest and lake, where we caught an unforgettable pink-and-blue sunset. Kyle seemed to know everything about Finland and checked in with us often to make sure we were comfortable. Back at his place, we were warmly greeted by his wife, their little one (basically a mini version of Kyle), and two shy but adorable reindeer. The only downside? I’m really missing his homemade blueberry juice—it was so good, and now I can’t find anything like it anywhere!

Ski hike on the frozen lake! - Kyle is a terrific, upbeat and friendly guide. I got to use the gloves and hand warmers he provided . Made me realise I needed to use more for myself during this holiday . Put on the skis and held on to the poles as we trekked through snow and a frozen lake with amazing views through the forest. Great conversations along with a supply of warm drink and food make this a top top experience . There’s drone footage too!

Magical experience in the forest - I had the pleasure to ski with Kyle on his beautiful property. From the frozen lake to the forest the views are honestly magical. We even went as far as reaching a gigantic swamp on the trails Kyle personally traces and takes care of. He's a very professional and enthusiastic guide. I learnt so much from him as he shared facts, anecdotes and insights while making sure I was having a good time and was following along. Kyle went above and beyond to make sure I had an amazing time, even taking incredible shots with his drone, can't recommendhim enough! If you're after a fun, informative and stimulating experience look no further!

Amazing and fun tour you would not regret joining! - Kyle was an amazing guide who made the trip very enjoyable! He went the extra mile to ensure that we were having fun and were safe throughout the entire trip! As beginners to the sport, we were excited to get the chance to try skiing on the lake and in the forest. The views were also amazing and because it was on his family's property, we had the whole entire lake and forest practically to ourselves! We also got to see the sun rise and set, and tried his homemade berry juice and reindeer sausages! As a bonus, he also helped us take videos and photos on our camera and also on his drone! Thank you for being such an informative and wonderful guide, Kyle! 😊😊
