Snow mobiling/Ice Fishing with Martin - My family and I took the 5 hour snow mobile and ice fishing tour and lunch with MARTIN. First off, Martin was nothing short of amazing! He was kind and funny and did his absolute best to make sure our kiddos had the best experience. We were extremely lucky and were the only ones to book the tour that day, so we had a private tour, making the day even more special. The views while snow mobiling down the river and through the forest were exceptional. The ice fishing was a fun and informative activity. We weren’t lucky in catching anything, but it didn’t take away from the fun at all. We then took the snow mobiles to a quaint cottage in the woods where Martin started a fire and cooked soup, sausages and bread for lunch. It was a nice warm break and provided more time to learn about Finland from our amazing guide. Martin told great stories and even gave us better recommendations for the hike we planned to take the next day. (We took his advice and the hike was perfect!) The tour was definitely a 5 star experience and an absolute highlight of our time in Finland! Thank you Martin!

Tiia was the best guide we had our entire trip! - We had an amazing snow mobile/ice fishing/ lunch tour with Tiia. She was an excellent guide. She was very knowledgeable and it was empowering as a woman to have a strong guide like this. We thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the this tour. It’s wonderful to snow mobile through the snow covered woods and someone in our group caught a fish! We were cooked a lovely hot soup and warm bread over an open fire for lunch. There was hot juice, coffee, and cookies as well. Plenty of snowmobile time as well. Would recommend!

Cold but very nice - After changing clothes, a short instruction and then we set off. It goes quite fast, sometimes up to 40 km per hour. It wasn't really the season for ice fishing but it was fun to experience. It was -22 and that was quite cold. Despite good shoes and thick socks, cold feet. Halfway through soup with bread in a hut to warm up. Great for racing across the river!

A great day out. - Just back from a Lapish inch break with Olaf and Raul from Safartica tours. 25 or so people on the tour most pairs one the one snowmobile. After sorting everyone out at the office with helmets, balaclavas socks bigs waterproof boots and a snow overall we walked to the river to collect the machines. Good instruction from Raul. Follow the leader style out to his favourite fishing place No luck today , maybe tomorrow. Another long ride to lunch - cabin in the woods style. Good warning reindeer and vegetable soup with bread, hot drink and cinnamon bun. Big ride back 1 hour plus. Good machines, heated hand grips. Good trails just like the postcards. One thing not in their control, you only go as fast as the slowest machine, and if they have a selfie stick it slows them down even more Overall great day, recommended.

Perfect! - We did a snowmobile activity with David, our guide. Everything was perfect. First of all, he was particularly kind, patient, passionate and exciting. The snowmobile hours were a treat. We had the opportunity to each take turns driving the machine. After the walk, David explained to us the practice of ice fishing and left us to experiment alone, it was great! Last but not least, the meal. Superb, reindeer soup to die for, David really took care of us. I recommend the experience 1000 times! THANKS !

Only one thing cheap snowmobile - Was ok, like others they borrow you overalls which are very warm. First time on snowmobile, steering was tricky but i learned from other tour that if this is the case most like cheap made snowmobile as the weight only is in front and not spread till the end. It was true as we done 3 tours in kittila and were much better and easier. It was fun as it was our 1st ride. Went fishing no catch 🤣. Martin and timothy were really great, especially Martin 😁Oh i forgot they cooked reindeer soup, and provided hot cranberry juice in which its their custom.
