Utilizing scientific data and practical expertise, forecasts for northern lights activity can be made up to 3 days in advance. However, a clear sky is essential. During this excursion, the goal is to predict the northern lights’ activity and travel to locations with clear skies, even if it means driving hundreds of kilometers from Rovaniemi. The trip duration ranges from 3 to 8 hours, depending on conditions. Please leave a message for any further questions or requests.
Please note that some days the northern lights activity is significant, while on others it may not be. Trips will be canceled or rescheduled (if possible) if there is absolutely no chance of seeing the northern lights. If no aurora is visible in the camera, a full refund will be provided.

There is no limit on distance; we are willing to travel hundreds of kilometers to find clear skies. Unlike large tour companies, this is an intimate group experience with a maximum of 8 participants. If the northern lights are not visible on camera, a full refund will be provided. If feasible, the trip will be rescheduled or substituted if there is no opportunity to see the northern lights.

Unforgettable Aurora Hunting Experience! - I had an absolutely amazing experience aurora hunting with Into North. From start to finish, everything was perfectly organized, and their knowledge and passion for the Northern Lights made the tour truly special.
We were taken to the best viewing spots, away from the crowds, and thanks to his expertise, we were lucky enough to witness the most breathtaking display of colors dancing across the sky. Even when the weather seemed uncertain, Into North remained optimistic and persistent, ensuring we had the best chance to see the lights.
I highly recommend this tour to anyone looking for a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Thank you, Into North for making this adventure so memorable!

Magical Auroras! - I had one of the best visuals of Aurora Borealis on my tour with Alexandros and Into North. The guiding of was really professional (in addition to the fun element). He was well on top of the predictions and planned such that we could stop at places where we expected the lights to show up. It was truely a good hunt in that sense! I am very glad that I chose to go with Into North and surely it seems like a guaranteed sighting

The phenomenal experience with the phenomenal guide - We booked the northern lights chase with the company in early december and team was responsive and coordinated very well with us. The day we booked was 25th of december the sky was too cloudy so our guide drove all the way from Rovenami to Sweden 200 km one way He was too considerate and dedicated to witness the phenomena for us He answered all our questions and also gave depth information about Northern lights and kind enough to take best photos for all travellers.Overall it was a great pleasure and wonderful experience to book our journey with intoNorth Would highly recommend it.

Exceptional Service and Awesome Northern lights - One word to describe Into North's Aurora Hunt tour : Superb! Not only was the northern lights a view to behold, the excellent service from the guides are exceptional. Thanks to Aino and Alex, our guides, who have many years of experience chasing the lights between them, we were able to see the wonderful lights from the 1st stop. They were so friendly and conversational we felt like it was a private tour! Photographs are also professionally taken and looks awesome! We are so happy after the tour, with not just the photos, but the entire experience of viewing the Northern lights with Into North! Thank you once again, Aino.

Fantastic small business - Shihab was an excellent guide - very knowledgeable, passionate about auroras, and very accommodating. We drove for close to 11 hours to find excellent lights on a night with very difficult conditions. It's always nice to support a small business like this one especially when it's run so well.

The best northern lights tour! - This tour was AMAZING! Our guide is also the owner of the company, and makes it his personal mission to ensure each group sees the aurora. He will drive wherever needed to get a clear sky for the best viewing ( we went about 1.5 hrs out of the city). He also took tons of photos of the sky, as well as individual photos of each person/ couple with his professional camera and shared them after the tour (you can see the difference in photos below ) . This is a small group tour in a nice van, so there is a lot of personal attention. The van stays heated even when parked - so you can go in and get warmed up if needed. Remember you’ll be out in nature with no rest rooms for many hours . This is the tour you want to take!

Incredible night - What an incredible night! We started by seeing some rather faint northern lights, barely visible to the naked eye… We were a bit disappointed, but at least we had seen them. Then, on the way back, around 2 a.m., after being out for 7 hours already, we noticed through the car window that the aurora seemed to be getting stronger and stronger. Our guide didn’t hesitate—he turned around to find an open spot, and there… we were treated to an unbelievable show. The northern lights were literally dancing above our heads. It’s the most beautiful spectacle I’ve ever seen in my life. Thank you again for this unforgettable experience!
