• Viiksjärvi - Your guide will take you to the lands around Viiksjärvi lake, prepare all necessary equipment and outer clothes for you. Then you will head deeper into the arctic taiga forest or out onto the pristine frozen white Viiksjärvi. All the while the guide is captivating stories and information about the Arctic region. About halfway through we make a stop to enjoy a snack and warm up around a campfire.

Embarking on a snowshoe journey through the frost-laden woods is an essential experience during the Nordic winter season!

You will be under the direction of our seasoned guide who will instruct you on the proper use of snowshoes before leading you into the heart of the Arctic forest. Both those who are not regularly active and families with small children will find this activity enjoyable!

As you venture deeper into the Arctic Circle woodland, make sure to take a moment to gaze around in hopes of spotting indigenous Arctic wildlife. Moreover, a forest-clearing barbecue coupled with piping hot tea have been arranged for you by your guide during the course of the expedition.
