Comfort is key for these journeys, as the trip can range from 50 km to typically 120 km one way, in search of the darkest skies. Enjoy a delightful Finnish Pulla (Dallas Roll) and berry tea to keep you satisfied throughout the night. Our main focus is locating a clear view of the northern lights, so we skip the barbecue to avoid unnecessary delays.
Guided by cloud coverage and solar wind data, you might explore 2 to 3 different viewpoints from the 300 we have identified across Finnish and Swedish Lapland. Some describe it as a pleasant road trip, while others see it as a genuine northern lights quest.
Considering weather conditions, we ensure to send an update email to our guests by 16:00 at the latest on the day of the tour. Occasionally, adjustments in departure time by an hour earlier or later may be necessary to find optimal weather. Tours typically commence between 19:30 and 20:00 and conclude around 01:00 to 03:00.

All photos taken during the tour are emailed within 24 hours, included in the service.
We provide a complimentary refund service. If it’s completely cloudy across Lapland and clear skies cannot be found within our range, we will either fully refund your ticket or rebook for the next day, according to your preference.
We employ advanced paid services for cloud and solar weather reports, and our guides are seasoned Aurora hunters. While some claim to GUARANTEE A NATURAL PHENOMENON, we believe this contradicts nature and is aggressive marketing. Our success rate was 86% during the 2023-24 Winter and 91% so far.
