• Roll Outdoors, Rovaniemi - Our journey begins at the Roll Outdoors Garage, located in the heart of Rovaniemi.
• Marttiini Store Old Factory - We first cycle through downtown Rovaniemi, passing by the historic Marttiini Factory, one of the few buildings that survived World War II in the city.
• Arktikum - After Marttiini, we ride through the grounds of the Arktikum museum, heading straight to the Ounasjoki river.
• Ounasjoki - Enjoy the scenic paths along the beautiful Ounasjoki river.
• Kemijoki - Where the Ounasjoki meets Kemijoki, Finland’s longest river, we follow the cycling paths along its banks.
• Lumberjack’s Candle Bridge - Soon, we return to the city center and cross the iconic Lumberjack’s Candle Bridge. We briefly ride on the opposite side of the river before returning via the Old Railroad Bridge.
• Rovaniemi City Library - We cycle through the complex designed by the renowned architect Alvar Aalto.
• Roll Outdoors, Rovaniemi - Back to the garage. What an adventure! Next time, you can explore the trails of Ounasvaara hill!
• Rovaniemi Church - After the riverbanks, our route continues past the Church of Rovaniemi.

Experience the city of Rovaniemi and the riverbanks of the Kemijoki and Ounasjoki rivers. This easy riding tour is suitable for anyone who can ride a bike, featuring only flat roads and simple forest paths. We’ll guide you through the city center to some of the most picturesque riverbanks. When conditions allow, we’ll also ride on the frozen river ice.
Our professional biking guide will not only showcase the winter wonderland but also introduce you to some delightful singletracks just a short distance from the city center.
This tour uses electric-assisted fatbikes, so while you’ll need to pedal, the electric motor ensures it’s easy and enjoyable for riders of all fitness levels.
During the tour, you’ll see the stunning riverside and some of Rovaniemi’s architectural gems. We’ll pass by the old Marttiini knife factory and Arktikum, cross the Lumberjack Bridge, and conclude the tour near the library designed by Alvar Aalto.
