Great way to visit Red Island - If you want to visit the islands offshore of Rovinj in a more immersive way than riding a tourist boat, this is a great option. Paddling to and from the islands takes about 30 minutes each way from the starting beach area. Convenient free parking is also provided at the resort.

Great day for a paddle - You'll kayak about 15 minutes and stop at a beach for a swim and snorkel although there's not much to see under water there. Then you'll kayak for about 30 minutes to the islands. There the guide will bring you to the main part of the island and provide you a Radler. From there you spend 1-1.5 hrs on your own on 2 beautiful islands. Find a spot on the rocks, go for a swim and chill. Walking around both islands takes about 30 minutes. Then you'll kayak back, about 30-40 minutes. We enjoyed the paddle and the views. There is no food provided and you're not with the guide too much.

BEST EXPERIENCE - just a one word. AMAZING Incredible experience, fabulous place ... the only flaw for us Italians is the aperitif ... olives, peanuts and chips must not be missing.

Kayak tour in Rovinj - We booked a kayak trip for 6 of us 4 young adults/ teens and 2 of us not as young. We had booked online and so were not 100% on how long and how far it would be. It turned out to be quite a long kayak journey to an island probably around 3km away. It seemed a bit daunting at the start but actually was fine ( with no previous paddle experience) and the organisation was great as you were able to go at your own pace. The island (red island) was really beautiful and the 2 guys who took us out gave us an excellent short tour and then we were left for about an hour and a half to explore and snorkel (snorkel provided) . The snorkelling was great, water super clear, and the island much more relaxed than the frenetic beaches around Rovinj. The return saw us kayak back with the sun setting behind us. Afterwards the staff helped us get a taxi back. Overall about a 4 hour experience which we would very much recommend. Well organised and good value.

All good, recommended - Great tour. First stop at Cuba Beach (let's say to get used to the vehicle) and then straight on to Red Island. In all we make a couple of snorkeling stops which in my opinion are less than satisfactory from the seabed point of view. The nature overall is excellent. It is an experience that I would do again and that I recommend to all those who are at least sporty (there is a lot to paddle and if you are not in shape you won't be able to get to the end without a certain effort). After a few days the guys will also send you photos of the experience. It should be noted that the price paid in cash is 70 euros per couple, instead of the 78 reported on TripAdvisor.

A nice experience! - We definitely recommend this experience! It is accessible to everyone, even those who have never kayaked before. The guides are very competent, friendly and helpful. It was a great way to discover Red Island - the guys gave us a mini tour and gave us some details of its history while we sipped on a radler included in the package. Highly recommended!!

Great fun snorkelling and kayaking to the Red Island - We had a great time kayaking from the Resort Villas Rubin to a beach for some snorkelling and then on to the Red Island for a tour with some history plus some time for ourselves to explore and snorkel some more. The trip includes radler beers, water and underwater photography. The waters are quite calm, but waves pick up slightly with wind. You will need some physical skill but it’s relatively relaxing work. Would recommend to all couples and families.

Not impressed - Very limited introduction and poor safety. Instructors/guides unenthusiastic. Equipment was fine. Nice to have snorkeling stop.
