- Balbi Arch - Rovinj once had seven topwn gates and Balbi’s arch is today the main one and one of the three preserved. Its rich decoration makes it one of the most photographed monuments in Rovinj and an unavoidable spot on the way to the oldest part of the town. Saint Marcus’ lion watches over you from its top since Venetian times.
