Highlights
  • Port of Rovinj - Embark on a journey with us to explore this city that emerged by chance, destined to become the most extensive, well-organized, and flourishing urban center in medieval Istria.

Join us as we commence our exploration in the lower town, gradually ascending to the upper town, retracing the steps of the ancient Holy Week procession towards Saint Euphemia’s church, effectively traveling through time.

We are natives of this place. It’s where we were born and raised. We experience Rovinj in its most authentic form. It’s important to us that we share it with you in a way that’s true to its essence. We’ll share with you our personal spots for the freshest produce, the finest coffee, the most exquisite pastries, and the most breathtaking gelato. You’ll gain insights from a local perspective on a variety of subjects, insights that you simply won’t find in any travel guide. We promise!

Excellent Walking Tour with a great guide - We really loved this walking tour of Rovinj. Our guide, Goran, was really passionate and informative. We learned so much from him and had a great time. Highly recommend taking this tour to get a real sense of the history and culture of Rovinj and the Istrian peninsula.

Informative & enjoyable - Goran was great. We were a group of friends. We got a real sense of Rovinj - the history & geography, how it has developed, what has changed.

Really recommend this to someone looking for a guided walking tour! - My tour guide was Goran & the walking tour was super nice! Goran was a local from Rovinj, very friendly person & knowledgeable about the city. It was a really nice experience, exploring the city, enjoying the sunset while someone is narrating the story about Rovinj.

Goran is a great guide! - We had a two hour walking tour that started at 6:30 and had some great shots at night. We walked through the old town along the port, and ended up at Saint Euphemia church.. Goran was a great guide, and very knowledgeable of his job, and very passionate about his city . I would recommend this tour with Goran to everyone.

Excellent - Great 1 1/2 learning about the history and sights of Rovinj and wider Croatia. Maslinka was interesting, knowledgeable and delightful. I’d concur that doing at the beginning of your stay helps to get the best out of the rest of your trip. Good for geography, restaurant tips, history, culture

Enjoyed our tour with Maslinka - Maslinka did an excellent job giving us all the history of Rovinj, Istria, and Yugoslavia. Without this tour, we would have just been walking around the city not understanding anything we were seeing or any of the context in which it exists. ;) Thanks so much, Maslinka!

Best intro to Rovinj - A nice overview of the delightful jewel known as Rovinj, made even nicer by an experienced guide that introduced a substantial amount of information in a short time. We appreciated the overview which made it easy to explore on our own afterwards.

Rovinj at sunset was divine .... - Absolutely loved Rovinj! Would totally recommend it to anyone visiting Istria, especially at sunset. Its Italian/Venetian influence is what makes it charming, as with Motovun. These two places as the jewels of Istria. Not really impressed with Pula, (apart from the amphitheatre). We generally found the food appalling in Istria and the beer fizzing and a non descript delivery of alcohol that wasn't particularly cheap. The two places I have mentioned were the highlights for me, the rest I found meh! Wont be rushing back.
