Amazing experience - Amazing time with Danny on the canoe tour! After this we did the turtle nesting night tour with him.. We got another guide who was really good and knew where to go. Saw a turtle nesting an waited for it to go back to the see. Amazing experience Thankyou Danny!!!! (Autopaleis)

With the canoe in the beautiful nature - Tourguide Danny took us into the canals around Tortuguero where we could experience the beautiful fauna and flora up close. Danny really knows what he's talking about and he's the kindness in person. We were able to admire several beautiful animals up close and enjoyed the whole trip. Amazing tour, beautiful park, stunning wildlife and a professional guide - We had an amazing trip with Danny as our guide. He brought us close to the wildlife while maintaining a lot of respect and care for the animals. Observing the animals in silence and afterwards lots of information from Danny.

WOW!!! - Wow! What an amazing tour of the river thanks to our faithful tour guide who became our friend as well, Danny. We saw many different birds, cayman, crocs, monkeys and beauty. His patience and knowledge was outstanding. Ruth was amazing as well on our nighthike and throughout our visit.

Excellent - We got very rainy days here and were rescheduling our tour thinking to cancel it even. And finally we decided to go. Danny, the owner, was very helpful, friendly and resolved the situation and we had a very good tour. Thank you.

So much more then expected... - Unbelievable cruise along the river and through the mangroves. Our guide, Nana (a Tortuguero local) was very knowledgable, courteous and was somehow able to replicate the sounds of all the animals in the jungle and seemingly communicate with them! A truly unforgettable experience. Highly recommended.

Dont book the tour, you can get them all at boat - Firstly, it is not communicated anywhere the last boat leaves for the park, which you must be at to take this tour, at 4p. Consequently, I lost my entire money as I only arrived at San Jose at 1.30p and drove straight here. Secondly, the tour guide only contacted me the at about 8p the night before. I dont think they have any idea you dont have phone contact if you are international. He was very rude, Blaming ME for not knowing about the last boat. And the lack of contact. He just kept replying to my emails, arguing and blaming. Thirdly, when I got the 1st boat out the next morning to Tortuguero (from la pavona boat dock), you can buy the tours there, for the same price. Why risk your money booking beforehand? The tours are all exactly the same, the canoes go out in the park the same places. You'll see them all when there. So why waste your money booking beforehand. I lost my money and the guy was rude to me on top of it. He said 'you cant review a tour you didnt take'. Well, I can review my experience.
